the Simpsons.
Even if these days I prefer Family Guy, new episode vs. new episode, over the long haul, it's Simpsons.

KOTH and The Critic are tied for first. Then Simpsons, then Family Guy, then Beavis & Butt-Head, then Futurama, then Capitol Critters (the wonders of YouTube), then AD, then South Park.

1. KOTH- The most consistently funny out of the bunch, IMO. 2. The Simpsons- It's fallen off in recent years but it's kinda hard to touch the show during it's peak seasons. 3. South Park- Kinda hit or miss for me in recent years but when they nail it, they knock it out of the f***ing park. 4. Futurama- Really really good show. It's never been as funny to me as the other shows were when they are at their best but it was very enjoyable. 5. American Dad- Good show but can fall really flat at times. 6. Family Guy- Hit or miss with there being far more misses than hits.

South Park. It's still hilarious after all these years.

I am absolutely baffled that King of the Hill is equal leading here.
If we're talking personal preference, American Dad has been good for more of its run, and it's a long run, than the only other competitors for me which are Simpsons (eight amazing seasons and a shitload of terrible ones) and South Park (I never watched it much).

If we're talking all time, it's the Simpsons and it isn't even close. KOTH is a distant second
Currently: Uh....South Park?

1. American Dad. Great show and always funny. I own the first 4 seasons and still play them from time to time. They really hold up well. Rodger is always funny as is Stan. Francine is easily the funniest wife of any show. She has great lines quite a lot. Steve and Haley also add quite a lot to the show. Klaus is kinda dead weight, but he is ok sometimes.
2. Family Guy. Its funny most of the time and a lot of its episodes are great. Lots of "dead weight" characters though (Chris and Meg)
3. KOTH. I can easily count on one hand how many times it made me laugh (almost never). But I did enjoy watching it most of the time. It was a good lead into Family Guy.
4. Futurama. It does have some great lines and a few episodes are really good. Buuuuuuuuuuuuut most of the characters suck. Some more than others. And it wayyy to much of a downer. I watch these shows for a laugh. It rarely delivers on that front. The whole Fry/Leela thing is annoying and I wish they would just end it.
5. South Park. It was funny for a long time, but its been around way to long now and I'm over it.
6. Simpsons. Cant remember the last time I watched an episode. I doubt I or anyone else will miss it when its gone. Over stayed its welcome by about 10 years now.
7. Duckman. I only watched this show a few times. It's not for me.

1. Old Simpsons 2. Current South Park 3. Family Guy 4. Current Simpsons 5. Futurama 6. American Dad.
I used to like KotH, but it's gotten pretty worn out for me. I think the Critic deserves a mention, though.

Simpsons and South Park have the highest highs.
IN particular South Park. When they have a great episode I laugh about it for hours after I see it. But there can be some long spells between episodes of that quality.

The best three seasons of "Simpsons" are head and shoulders above the best three seasons of everything else on the list, but in terms of all time favorite, "South Park" leads the pack for consistency, so I voted "South Park."
