Honestly High School was just a weird four years of my life. Not because of school itself but the real world. But I have to say the class as in the group itself was different because most all of us got alone no matter what "group" you fit in. Just had our Ten year in 2012 and it was like one big party.
The hardest was Freshmen year. Mainly it was a new school and trying to get used to that. I barely passed a couple classes which I was down on at myself. The only positive was seeing a lot of friends who went to a different middle school again.
Sophmore: It was much like Freshmen in work wise. It was better as I got used the place. Some of my friends from a grade below me where now there. Honestly just remember talking about wrestling a lot. (It was in the middle of the Monday night wars.) Also had the whole Y2K scare.
Junior: Think it was my easiest year. When to Tech school which was an easy class. had two lunches because the tech school. Health classic was like a dream of a music video. Hot Mid 20 blonde ex NFL Cheerleader telling you about sex, a teenager dream right there. Also meet who now one of my best friends that year who just moved in before the year started. The odd thing of that year was the head Principal passing away. School was cancel for a day so students who attend the funeral.
Senior: Easy year again work wise. It was tough saying good bye but bitter sweat at the same time. 9/11 happened in the first half of that year. It was brought everyone closer I think. A lot of good times over all.

Senior year, mainly because 3 weeks before graduation I suspended for over 2 months. Mostly because the Vice Principal and my father had issues from the past. Thankfully they let me graduate. Also got into 3 fights that year. 2 of them nothing really happened. 1 of them caused me to get 1 week suspension then 3 weeks of in school suspension.

Junior year. It was the hardest year for the most challenging required classes I had no choice but to take, as well as the year where they stick all the teachers who've given up on actually trying to be good teachers.

None. High school is great, it's like you can't miss. What are you gonna do? Get a F? Who gives a shit? It's not like you're gonna spend all the mortgage money. High school is seriously sweet. Also, PS, the workplace is exactly like high school....100%. No matter the job. Enjoy. None of the jobs I ever worked at felt like highschool! Anyways all my highschool years were good except for freshman year. f*** that year. 2005 was the shittiest f***ing year ever. But Senior Year was a great f***ing year and second semester was seriously amazing. I loved how I got all my credits before the second semester so I only had two classes with both being the last two classes of the day. Sleeping in and do the two easiest classes for last. 2008 was just an amazing year in general. Possibly the best momentumus year of my life.

What kind of paradise do you work at where people don't morph into cliques and everyone bitches about everyone behind their backs? If you feel this is true, I submit, no one likes you and chooses not to speak to you. Which is also high school.

Couldn't really tell ya. I homeschooled for most of it after getting into a fight with a football coach and never really paid attention to things after that. By the time I went back to an actual school it was an alternative thing (not in terms of where the expelled/suspended kids go mind you) where you just did work. You could be doing senior level English and freshmen level math (which I was) or any combo of stuff across the traditional grades. I guess that said, freshmen year would qualify as the toughest and thus worse what with the fight, court after refusing to go back, and sucking so bad at Algebra that gave up causing me to fall behind.

I never had to deal with cliques in any workplace except only once. But that job was my part time highschool job and that job ruled.

10th grade included bullying in several classes. my shop class was so bad that I requested to be put into in-school suspension for the last week of the class because I couldn't deal with it anymore. normally this wouldn't be a huge deal, having to be in in-school suspension for one period, but we were on block scheduling so we only had 3 classes a day that were two hours each. so it was a LONG week especially when that was the last class of the day.

Freshman year. I f***ing hated my high school and was going through some serious depression issues. I wanted to kill myself.
Sophmore year was alright as I adjusted to my school. Still didn't like it but I stopped hating it as much. Junior year was a bitch because of all the work but it wasn't terrible. Senior year was kind of a blast. I actually made friends at my school and began really addressing my anxiety issues. In fact, now that I'm thinking about it, senior year is a massive reason why I am who I am right now.

Junior. Seems that year makes or breaks where you can get into college. Think I was already accepted into college by the first month of my senior year so it didn't mean crap.

I still don't know what happened sophomore year, but i feel the hell apart something awful in my classes. Every other year was great on that front, though.

academically, grade 10. math and science were my worst subjects and i had them both as morning classes in the same semester. failed them, made up for it in summer school.
mentally, i was bullied a lot in grade 11, even had a razor held to my throat with the person saying "i'm going to f***ing kill you."

Freshman by default, since I never had any real problems with HS outside of leaving the work lie there and not doing it.

Honestly, high school is kind of a blur to me. It hasn't even been four years I'm out of it and I barely remember it.

Wasn't really a fan of high school in general. Don't miss it one bit. Honestly had a much better experience at college and university because that was when I realised what kind of person I was going to and wanted to be.

Schoolwork wise... they were all pretty easy to me.
Socially? While I was never picked on really... at least not bad enough for me to notice it to bother me...
but late sophmore- early junior year the year was 1999 and everyone started staring at me because I was the quiet kid that kept to himself... fun times...

The 'best years' thing is also untrue cuz virtually nothing that's hugely important/worrying to you at 16 will matter at all to you at 30.

I may as well add on to the horrible school memories department and say that my sophomore year was pretty awful. Not because of anyone bullying me, the people at my high school for the most part were nice and pretty accepting. This was the year that I ended up with crippling OCD that kept me from going to school and landed me in a behavioral health facility for like four months. If you wonder how bad it could be. I'll just say it was like, "weird shit you would see on TV" bad. I don't want to go too far into detail, but I was pretty mentally screwed up at this point. Luckily, the school worked with me and while I had to repeat one or two classes my next near, I did end up graduating with everyone else. But I would venture to call it the hardest part of my life thus far.
