I ad one of these earlier and I never do this anymore, but I think I might have to have a second one later!
So what do you like on your baked potato and what do you like to eat it with? Also, is there anywhere in particular you like to get your baked potato or any kind of potato you like particularly to bake?
I'm a big fan of Wendy's baked potatos with just cheese. Kind fo pricey for soemthing that after all is just a potato with cheese, but it's fast food still so pretty cheap overall.

It needs French fried onions or seasoned salt
or cheese.
Perhaps all three.

Loaded baked potatoes are the one food that every time I eat, I feel like I'm for sure going to die because of it.

That totally should have been the name of RVD's stiff kick to the face. "Baked Potato".

I put butter on it, sometimes bacon. Sometimes, I just eat it, as-is. I like the taste of potato.

f*** yeah I'll appreciate a baked potato!
I like using red potatoes or yukon gold then I slather that bitch with butter, cheese, salt and pepper, maybe cream cheese if I'm feeling fancy. That is some good eats.

I go cheese, sour cream, ham and spring onions. So delicious. This sounds absolutely glorious. I usually do it without the onions, but goddamn that sounds good. I also like throw seasoned salt and black pepper when I don't feel like going all out with the cheese, ham, and sour cream.

Yeah dude, the sour cream and the cheese melt together and it's just crazy awesome.

Baked potatoes are the shit! All I used to put on them was butter, but after I started cutting down on what I was eating to lose weight I haven't put butter on them for the past few months.
And, honestly, I prefer them just straight up for some reason. The butter was nice, obviously, but they're still good with nothing on them.

Needs to be crispy at the bottom, cut in quarters put some butter, salt & pepper in it and eat with a steak.

Use a nice, waxy potato and you just need a bit of pepper on it. I had one today and I just put peas and sweetcorn over it.

Coated in olive oil, Lawry's seasoned salt, and black pepper before baking, and then served with butter.

Sorry for the bump, but I had a question and thought one baked potato thread may be enough for FAN.
Anyway, I haven't made a homemade baked potato with CHEESE in quite some time though I have made them without cheese. As mentioned earlier I really like the ones they have at Wendy's and the way the cheese melts. So I was wondering does anyone know what kind of cheese Wendy's uses to get that affect? Can it be done with just a microwave? Also, is there any cheese you can get the same affect with and dear I say make it taste even better than the Wendy's kind?

I don't know what cheese Wendy's uses, but I recommend using a soft cheese like monterrey jack, mozzarella, or colby jack for best "melty" results.
