Does anyone know why Rob Conway's "Con Man"/Legend Killer push was halted? Seemed like he had creative behind him.

Because absolutely no one anywhere gave a f*** about him. Hasn't stopped them pushing Del Rio for years...

Because they loved the Legend Killer idea and wanted to save it for someone they thought it'd work better for.

Because he was a ripoff of "The Bash Man" Doug Basham.

The only thing that could destroy the bubble of the notion that Rob Conway could be a viable superstar was indeed, a Conway pop.

That's really not fair at all, Del Rio has not always got Conway Pops. He has been over on more than one occasion, just never for very long, and he has managed it by himself, not just from Ricardo. His promo after turning heel on Ziggler by kicking him in the head for 20 minutes was great and got lots of heat.

He had moments of greatness and heat. It's just nowadays, he's experiencing a drought.

I don't know if I'd call it a push. He beat Koko B Ware on a Heat and Doink.

Conway was an incredible talent, his OVW work proves this. His music killed him.
I like the song myself, but as an entrance theme with absolutely no signature opening, it's a crowd killer.

FAN never fails to remind me that I was apparently the only one who liked "The Con Man" Rob Conway. It's a cold and lonely life for a Con Man Fan.
