Bad News Brown all day, every day. Dude wouldn't back down from Cena like a bitch or let HHH kick him in the nuts and get away with it.

Bad News Brown in his prime would wipe the floor with Barrett.

In kayfabe? I dunno, was Brown ever an upper card guy? I'm not too familiar with his career. However, in real life, I've heard Brown didn't like losing very much, I think, in which case... my money's on him As for just a fight in the street, well, Barrett apparently has that bareknuckle boxing background...

The thing is, these training things always come up, and I'm no expert, but I've always wondering how much use martial arts would be in just a fight in a bar or whatever, because I've never really seen it happen. That applies to Barrett, as well. {Spoiler}Also, for what it's worth, to avoid spiralling the read off into who could kick who's ass, I really don't care - I watch wrestling for fake fighting not real fighting. Not a knock on you for replying to me, cause I brought it up, just trying to avoid the discussion entirely.

Don't think he was ever upper card, strong mid-card. I do remember him kicking Hogan's ass through out an entire match until hulk-up, deflected punches, big boot, leg drop.

But yeah in that case, in kayfabe, Barrett would probably win since he's main evented as a legitimate threat to world titles before.

Watching that match as a kid was one of the few times, I legit thought Hogan was going to lose. Its burned into my memory of Hogan, on his knees, begging for mercy, and the look on Brown's face, was pretty much "hell, no."

Because Hogan was always a better seller. How many superman babyfaces would actually beg off? I like Cena too, don't get me wrong, and he's MUCH better than he used to be, but the characters are not as similar as people like to think.

Bad News Brown was a judo expert of Olympic standards. He probably would have killed Barrett in a legit fight. He won either the bronze or silver in judo at the '76 Olympics in Montreal. He was a legitimate fighting machine. In pro wrestling, his greatest fame was in Japan, Stampede Wrestling, and WWE. He had good house show main event runs with both Hogan and Savage and helped put on one of Hogan's best TV matches on a 1989 episode of Saturday Night's Main Event (or at least it was one of my favorites). He went back down the card because he almost seems, in retrospect, too ahead of his time. So yeah, in a shoot or kayfabe, Bad News Brown would destroy Barrett.

I'm hearing all sorts of stories about Judo this blah blah and Olympics that blah blah.
Bad News Barrett is a bare-knuckle fighter who actually delivers bad news. He saved the gimmick after Bad News Brown, or Allen, or whatever his name was ruined it with serious badassery.

Bad News Barrett is funny and entertaining.
I really can't recall or remember Bad News Allen Brown, and I'm not swayed by serious legit badassitude.
