I love going to the live shows. Let me know when they fix their dismal lighting situation and I'll order a PPV. I can't stand watching the TV show and staring at the ring lights.

I called this when they leaked the idea of a major announcement. I can almost guarantee this only being done because of he WWE situation and with massive backing from inDemand, Dish and Direct. No chance ROH or Sinclair are taking on any of the risk, I mean they don't even film in HD (last I checked) because Sinclair sees the cost of the cameras as too prohibitive right now, so there no chance of them spending money on the sat. time, production trucks and other cost associated with live PPVs. They were lookin for something to fill the hole left by WWE and hopefully bring in a few bucks in the long run from wrestling fans, ROH is the only option for that. I don't know it'll succeed but it'll be nice while it lasts. Wonder what cards will get the treatment though. BITW (obvious), Final Battle (likely) and I'd think two others. I would like to think Supercard of Honor (w/ it being on Wrestlemania weekend and all) and probably Death Before Dishonor. There you have April, June, September, and December. Then you can do the rest (like Border Wars and Glory By Honor) as iPPV "supershows". I was thinking those two but wasn't sure how many they were doing and for how long.

I don't like ROH. At least they employ RD Evans/Archibald Peck.

Not only that but he believes that RD Evans and Archibald Peck are the same person. Come on. RD Evans has the greatest streak since Goldberg going right now. {Spoiler}I know he's the same person, I just like having a little kayfabe kept for giggles

RD Evans is a wrestling lawyer. Archibald Peck is a bad ass mofo who is a time traveling marching band nerd. MARCHIE ARCHIE 4 LYFE!

I understand running shows in the same city/state for fans wanting wrestling, but running a PPV show? That's asking for death.

I'll be the one to make a bold prediction here.
It flops because of the price.
$24.99 is two and a half months of WWE Network. That's two PPV's from WWE in HD. $24.99 is Standard Definition, which means $34.99 is probably the cost to watch in true HD. It's the same joke with nobody wanting to purchase a TNA PPV for $44.99. Unless the overhead for producing these is cheap and the contract with PPV outlets is generously in their favor, I don't see ROH doing much here. There's not much of an audience for them, and I like ROH a lot.

I'd consider buying it for 10-15 bucks but 25 is way to much for me for this company. I hope it does well but it's out of my price range.

Eh, I'll pay the $25 out of solidarity even if I think the price is a little high.
I would, however, pay $50 for a PWG PPV without a second thought.
