Have they ever booked a gimmick match because WWE had a ppv that weekend? Seriously, I can't think of one. I remember off the top of my head there being a Knockouts ladder match the same week as Money in the Bank (or maybe TLC) at one point. I'm sure this isn't the only time, though. You're reaching here buddy.

You're reaching here buddy. No, reaching would be saying that the next week had an Ultimate X and pointing out the similarities between Option C and the MitB briefcase.

I think you might be talking about Gail/Taryn last year, which was a 1 on 1 #1 contenders ladder match after their Last Woman Standing match to continue their feud. I didn't even think about MITB when they had that match, because of how personal their feud already was.

You're reaching here buddy. No, reaching would be saying that the next week had an Ultimate X and pointing out the similarities between Option C and the MitB briefcase. Option C could be compared to MitB, however doing so would be short sighted to the fact that it's more parallel to how the IC title used to lead to the main event and shot at the big one. People tend to forget that TNA has only been around for a very small fraction of the time WWE has so of course there is going to be re-treads and copying in places, it's just natural. Of course it's easier to see a comparison to something modern and latch onto that but sometimes the truth is past that easy connection. By the way, I wasn't trying to be insulting when I said you were reaching, I was trying to be honest.

By the way, I wasn't trying to be insulting when I said you were reaching, I was trying to be honest. I understand that, hence why I said it would be reaching. Holding the X Division Title means more than a world title shot. There's some prestige to the belt. By contrast, holding the briefcase, at least until the cash-in, is little more than a consolation prize. And don't worry, I didn't take that in an insulting way. At the same time, though, I did find it convenient that the gimmick match of choice to resolve that feud was the very same the competition was building a PPV around just days later. Not that it took anything away from the match or the feud, but I don't think it was coincidental.

112) If you tune in early you can catch the end of an episode of Cops. 113) If you liked what you saw on Raw and want to see it again but don't know about Youtube or own a DVR, just catch Impact on Thursday. 114) DJ Z's horn noise 115) Not a fan of Japanese superstar Kazuchika Okada? Go back and watch his run on Impact as Samoa Joe's Green Hornet "inspired" cameraman and see him be put in his place. 116) They're hired the former Derrick Bateman and are pushing him. Bateman was awesome and EC3 is awesome. 117) If you think you've got a big head, Eric Young is here to make you feel a little better about yourself. 118) Does watching wrestling with too many tag teams confuse you? Do you find watching only two tag teams much more manageable? Watch Impact! 119) They actually took Rockstar Spud from being completely useless pre-Dixie and made him a fun character with a purpose. 120) Trouble trouble trouble trouble trouble trouble trouble. Trouble trouble trouble. 121) WWWHHHHOOOOOOOAAAA-WHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAA - WHHHHHOOOOOOAAAAA WHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAA

I'm not sure if this thread was created to convince others that TNA is better, or you're just insecure about your tastes.

To be honest, I've been enjoying the product also. I just feel that there are better ways to discuss these kinds of things. Thread titles like these are only inviting trouble from those that feel differently.
