I'm thinking about contacting a suicide hotline because if the college think I can't handle the rest of the course, which will be a lot tougher and that'll cause even more stress but if I leave the course I've got nothing to fall back on, I've only got my English GCSE, I seriously don't know what to do.

Don't commit suicide. Please seek professional help. College is not worth that kind of grief.

What course are you on ? NVQ with just the English GCSE (is that the only one you have) ?
Work harder, finish course. Talk to parents.

Just drop the class. Bombing a class isn't worth losing your life over. Have a drink and relax

There's nothing wrong with seeking out help. However, try and learn different ways to respond to depression because college courses shouldn't make you so upset. When I would get depressed during school I would work out to take my mind off of stuff.
Good luck!

Yeah that's what I've got, Maths is the bane of my education life, I don't want to do it and I don't plan to do it but I've been considering it, believe me if I had the maths GCSE I would've dropped out but most jobs require both English and Maths

I'm confused, so you don't think your life is worth living IF, IF you fail your college course?

As someone who almost did during high school because of similar things. liberal arts high school where I loved to act but math and science made me extremely stressed to the point I was caught plagiarizing and had to leave the school. There is a light at the end of the tunnel my friend. Seek help, seriously. Professors, parents, anyone. It helped me and I am sure they will help you.

I retook my Maths O'Level twice before I passed it. Took so long it ended up being the first year of GCSE's.

I can assure you, flunking out of college is not the worst thing that can happen to you.
College, despite what we've been led to believe, isn't right for everyone and I'd wager that most people who major in something don't end up working in that field.
Don't let your happiness be wrapped up in an education/occupation because those things definitely won't matter as much as you think they will when you're looking back at them.

Trust me it does get better, I have been through those thoughts and I called and talked to someone. It does get better and people will miss you I know people here will miss you we are here for you and sure things suck right now but if you end it you will never get a chance to see the results of pulling through and proving that you can do it. Trust me again IT GETS BETTER, talk to someone anyone a counselor, a friend, the hotline, a professor you trust, even if you really need to go to the hospital

College isn't for everyone. If you legitimately can't handle the stress, walk away. Drop the course if you must, let it fail if its too late. There's no shame in failing a class if you have to.

Don't do it! Things will get better. Very few things are worth dying over and college definitely isn't one of them.

If your college has any kind of counseling center speak to them ASAP, they can even help you get in touch with right people to help plan out what's best for you.
