Even with Titanfall, the Xbone still lost in hardware sales? That's gotta be rough for MS if they expected the game to move systems.

Titanfall numbers would be bumped up a lot by PC sales. I mean, it runs best on there and has the biggest audience. Shit, EA were advertising Titanfall using PC footage.

Having Titanfall on these other systems came back and bit the X1 in the ass, and I single out that console because clearly it was pushed as an X1 mover. PC allowed Sony fans a chance at it, and those who already own a 360 (which is quite large) opted to buy it for their current system instead of upgrading.

These Titanfall numbers don't include the 360 version, actually, as they kept delaying that version, so it didn't come out till this month.

I'm not into the Titanfall news because I didn't follow it that well, but I'm surprised that the Vita is selling so dang poorly.
Even with the sales of portable consoles down from this time last year, the 3DS is still running circles. I know why the 3DS is succeeding, but I'm more intested in why the Vita is failing.

Because the sort of games that the Vita is pushing are the sort of games you can get on a phone. The 3DS has the 3D element, the kiddy element and the J/RPG element, plus so really great games. The Vita is just.....there. No decent games, no stand out features, complicated backside touch panels and it's still expensive when compared to the 3DS and app gaming.

Yeah, I've messed around with a few Vitas and its a total bitch to get them to do anything. At least with the 3DS, it's more user-friendly.

Whats the point in including PC in this if they don't even count digital sales?

Whoa, whoa, whoa. The Vita has a good amount of good games. I'll admit it lacks a standout gimmick, but everything it does it is near the top of the class in doing.
The problem is simply that it lacks must have big name titles, that's it. It has a lot of good games, the issue is that most of them are downloadable indie games, not exactly system sellers(just system enhancers).
Honestly as a piece of hardware, the Vita kills the 3DS. Just kills it. The 3DS dominates the Vita in software, though, and that's all that matters. Where the games go, so do the gamers.
