I'd argue that there's no way Freddy's Revenge is worse than Dream Child. At the same time, it really suffers from all the weird tangents from the first movie that are discarded for the subsequent films. The anti-continuity kind of makes it a mandatory exemption if you want to have a solid NoES marathon, imo, it's just a momentum killer. Dream Child is great dammit, I don't know how anyone can hate on it. I just don't like it, and never have (granted I've only watched it twice, in 2000 and 2005). It's too... plastic? If New Nightmare counts, I'd probably put that below any of the first 6 (same for FvJ and the remake). I feel like is Freddy's Revenge great? No. But it's so strange, with all these odd choices and ideas going on, while Dream Child just comes across very lazy to me. Maybe I'll enjoy it more if I watch it again. Kind of unfortunate time for big budget horror movies with the MPAA cutting out all the gore, which really hurts this and The New Blood.

That's my favorite Nightmare movie in general, now you're taking it a step too far. And I just realized you shat on Dream Child, which I don't like at all. For some reason I thought you were hating on Dream Warriors and I confused the two...goddammit I'm terrible with subtitles of movies. We really need to focus on the number here.

I could see an argument for the original, Dream Warriors or New Nightmare, but fair enough. I do think Freddy's Dead is probably the worst at the end of the day, though.

The Halloween Havoc of films : Mortal Kombat 2 Waaaaay worse than Euro vacation , Vegas Vacation , NOES 2 imo. MK2 is like a student showing up to a test w/o having studied , at least then they could said they'd tried.....MK2 didn't even try "Shame on you , double shame !" (Full House)

Dunno if it has been mentioned, I'm being lazy, but Bourne Supremacy. I'm fine with "some liberties" being taken to make a book work as a movie, but...the only things kept from the book were the title and the main character's name.
They changed where the movie took place, the villain, and they killed the main character's chief ally (ok, the one that didn't get killed off in the first movie) within the first 30 seconds. That is despite the fact that the relationship between Bourne and his wife was the driving force of the movie - a rescue.

Well according to George Lucas, the original STAR WARS trilogy. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Which is highly debatable, but it was the weakest of the original three and is inferior to Crystal Skull. Wait now hang the frig on here! I was not horribly fond of Temple of Doom (compared to 1 & 3), but to say it's inferior to Crystal Skull is an offense I can't even agree with. I suspect even being on drugs I wouldn't agree with that! Temple of Doom is the least good movie in the Indiana Jones-trilogy. There was no fourth movie, you hear me? There. Was. No. Fourth. Movie.

Highlander. Like, most of the sequels range from middling-bad, but Highlander 2 is a trainwreck of the highest proportions. Highlander 2 was absolutely putrid. Amazingly enough, it was the first one of the series I watched. Despite seeing it first I still wound up watching the original and was totally shocked. I still cannot comprehend how that sequel got made the way it did.

Robocop. At least Robocop 3 explored the blight issues of Old Detroit. When the sequence of the failed Robocop 2s is your film's only highlight, you got problems. The battle between the two Robocops was pretty sweet in its own right. Granted, if you took all of the good moments in 2 and 3 and strung them into a single movie it would still be nowhere near as good as the first one.

Vegas Vacation, to that particular series, is equal to the Crystal Skull to Indiana Jones.
In no way should a movie that heavily featured Eric Idle (European Vacation) be considered bad. (Oh yeah, and German boobs.)

Batman (1989-1997), Back to the Future, Evil Dead. No no no no no! Batman & Robin is an abomination, BTF3 seemed tacked on and Evil Dead 2 is HILARIOUS. While I enjoy all of the Evil Dead's, I would likely put Army of Darkness as the worst, but its still awesome. Anyone said Mallrats yet? Cuz while I love it, it's quite obviously the worst Askew-niverse film.

I think Dream Child is the worst (if we're not counting the remake).... Well it depends considering Freddy's Dead turning Freddy into a cartoon character. I like part II because I feel like Freddy was still incredibly frightening. For me it's ANOES,New Nightmare,2,3,4,FVJ, 5-6 depending on the day, remake

You have to remember that at first, it was supposed to be one long movie called "Paradox."

I came in here expecting to have to defend Freddy's Revenge, but it really hasn't been mentioned that much. That movie is just way to silly not to love. Plus, I don't think there is a slasher around with more homosexual undertones (I'd say unintentional homosexual undertones, but you can't really have a guy get whipped in the ass with a towel to death and not at least somewhat intend for homosexual undertones). Anyway, for that series the worst is part 5 (the remake isn't that great either).
