Any idea when the episode was. Could be neat to hear. Also, just curious, but how was he acting like douche? From August 2007. 15 minutes of hell. www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxJ3iTBMb4oHe seems to take everything too seriously and gets too inside with his answers, and O&A know it and thus direct the conversation into a place where he just digs a deeper grave for himself. He also claims to be a big fan yet basically admits he's never listened to them, which to the O&Averse means this will warrant a backlash. Thanks Knapp. I am glad you found the you tube link and posted it. I had been looking for a copy. When I said I was a big fan, I had been a fan of Jim Norton for a few years. I wasn't as familiar with O&A. Let's just say the way when I was invited on the show, it was laid out a little differently from the producer than it turned out. Should have done more research before I agreed to go on there into a bait and switch situation. But that's cool. They have their program and are entertaining. Since the interview, I have become a fan and listen semi regularly now. Sorry you feel I came across as a douche, but when they asked for a serious interview and reversed it. There wasn't a whole lot I could do. Again thanks for the post and link. Really appreciate it. Thanks to everyone else for the kind words. Wrestlecrappers are the best folks! Dave Wills

He was interviewed by Opie & Anthony a couple years back. To say the guy was oblivious to how much of a douche he was coming off as is putting it lightly. (And after like 20 minutes he got Ramone'd right off the phone.) I don't understand what you mean. Konga Dave seemed very humble and willing to laugh at himself when he did that interview. It was the interviewers who came off as losers; the only way they could feel good about themselves was by making someone else feel bad about himself. The Ramone thing is just a radio version of trolling, and although Dave was a nice enough guy to initially offer forgiveness, he got off the phone when he realized that to do anything else would be equivalent to 'feeding the troll.'

I'll be honest it's a very funny line, but when you understand the context it's pretty sad and heartwarming too. Hear hear. His heart was in the right place, but his choice of words was hilariously confusing to the average spectator.

Dave seems like a nice and passionate guy that at least was able to take everything in stride. I thought he did well considering everything. Opie & Anthony just seem like a bunch of pricks. Haven't listened to them before, not impressed. Seems like they cater to the stereotypical "frat boy" crowd.

Dave Wills Hey there, just curious about the Tosh.O thing. How were the other wrestlers on the segment (how did they treat you)? And did you get to spend a decent amount of time interacting with them afterward? That looked like a fun segment.

That right there above? That's class. Indeed, and by implication, the radio hosts in question are jackass trolls. Anyone who pulled that kind of crap here would be banned; doing it over the radio makes it no more acceptable (or funny).

Hey, who wouldn't want to sit down and eat enchiladas with Sgt Slaughter, Koko B. Ware and Ted Dibiase. It was a moment I will never forget.
