Let's see how the David Benoit debut/exploitation pans out also.

Pretty much anything TNA has done this year qualifies. Samuel Shaw gets my vote.

So far, TNA 2014 as a whole has it won for me. The actual wrestling is generally pretty good but the booking is so incredibly awful and nonsenical, even for Impact standards. I want them to succeed but the way they're throwing a million terrible ideas at the wall and hoping they stick doesn't give me hope.

Eric Young as Daniel Bryan-lite before becoming a fighting champion as if to say 'hey look, their asshole champion got married and then let his dad die so he didn't have to defend his title! At least our champ is here EVERY WEEK!'

I'd say Shaw, Roode, ECIII, and Rockstar Spud should be excluded from it. Those 4 have been the best things in TNA this year, and when it comes to Spud that's saying a lot for how much he's improved.

Ken Anderson ruins everything... I'd go with Dixie Carter, especially if Bully Ray does put her through a table and she still comes back.

It's basically Willow vs Samuel Shaw this year. Nobody comes close.

Did Bully Ray threatening to kill Anderson's wife and unborn children while Ray's super ominous promo music played in the background happen this year or at the end of last year? Because that might give Willow a run for his money.

Bray Wyatt's demon child w/ distorted voice was delightfully corny and stupid. One night of it isnt enough to overtake Willow though, in my eyes. But if they keep using it for Bray promos, ruining his awesome mystique, then it's definitely a contender.

I'd say the wrestling is serviceable, but not one single match this year has cleared above average, and I'm not expecting that to happen any time soon with the super-depleted talent pool TNA has right now. The fact that TNA's rapid-fire production doesn't allow anything to sit in with the audience is NOT helping in this regard, either.

Bray Wyatt singing and everything involved in that mess. Eric Young World Champion Magnus worst world champion in history. Willow Dixieland Buddy Ray Sam Shaw vs. Anderson... we can't even keep our own continuity in a hype video for the match!
Torito vs. Hornswoggle will probably be nominated but really shouldn't be. The Miz will probably randomly get nominated again... Some other things that really don't fit the worst thing that happened this year.

Either the Sam Shaw angle or Gunner's rise to the top.
