(after having just finished Raw) They put and odd amount of focus on Reigns in this episode. Which (regardless of how big of a mistake it'll be) leads me to believe that they're going to turn him heel soon. Seriously, this was the first time that I can remember a member of the group being so focused on by himself, the commentators, and the people they're feuding with. I wouldn't be surprised if Roman joined Evolution or some other wacky way to make him a bad guy in all of this. I hope not. I love The Shield and I never want to see them break up. NEVER!

I do think when they eventually break up it should be as part of a "Losers must disband" match stipulation... and not with one of them turning heel on the others. Have them lose do the Shield fist one last time and have them go their separate ways.

The focus on Reigns is leaving a sour taste in my mouth. It's sucks knowing what's going on before our eyes. But the uninformed audience seems to love him so that's all that matters to WWE.

It's WWE's "way" though isn't it? A tag team or group can only serve to make one of the members a "top guy". No other option. They tried it with Bubba, it didn't work. They tried it with Billy Gunn and it didn't work. They tried it with both Morrison and Miz and neither worked out the way they had hoped. Hell, even Breat and Shawn, while icons and all that good stuff, weren't the huge money-making solo acts that they dreamed of. They create or push a team for the sole purpose of breaking someone off and making them a focal point. Never mind that teams can do that drawing money thing that all the kids are raving about.

Let them all get individual themes so that if they ever reform the crowd can have a proper reaction to it.

I hope Reigns improves a lot more sooner because his singles matches have me tuning out. I like when stars are made but not so quickly like Sheamus in 2009 and Del Rio in 2010-11

Wait, you mean the Shield isn't just Roman Reigns? I thought those other two guys were just stage hands - since they're all dressed in black. Yeah guys, you're supposed to ignore them as the set the stage for the star. Read a book on theater, god.

I like when stars are made but not so quickly like Sheamus in 2009 and Del Rio in 2010-11 It's not even "how quickly they're made". You mention Del Rio, and I point to a guy who grew up in and drew money in wrestling for a long time. Then he signed with WWE. They changed his look, his name, his style, and said "OK, you're a main eventer now". That, once again, is a square peg in a round hole. Vince didn't come up with Hulkamania, Hogan was doing something like it in the AWA. Vince tweaked it and said, "OK, now try this with it". Vince didn't come up with Austin 3:16. You bring Del Rio in as lucha royalty, keep the mask, and have him work a program with Rey (or even have Rey put him over verbally if Rey's knees are doing what they do, which is exploding) and that has a chance. The Hispanic audience is still a big one, and a second generation lucha star is a big deal. Having a second gen lucha star, who can work that style but who is also the "size" Vince wants is HUGE. Instead we got generic Mexican JBL.

I enjoy Del Rio in the ring but his character is so bland. When he turned face last year he seemed more comfortable in the role.
