Please tell me WWE doesnt have some stupid, greedy ownership to the phrase "Oh its true, its true"...
Cause I mean I dont see whyAngle wouldnt have just said "Its true...its true", what he said kinda sounded dumb: "Its real, its damn real"

If he said it, They would claim they had ownership. If he doesn't, he can copyright it. This is like Christian's "Captain Charisma".

Kirk Angle isnt allowed to poop in toilets anymore. WWE copyrighted that since he pooped on toilets during his time with WWE. So he cant use its true its true either. Get with the program man!

You're my kind of poster! And well, the WWE did have 'It's True, It's True' on a shirt, and also trademarked the term 'Wrestling Machine' (so guess Aries can no use it any longer either?), so, if he's no longer able to use the phrase, we all know the reason why.

I think they can stop him from putting it on a shirt or something, but they can't stop him from saying it, right? I mean, they have the word WWE trademarked, but they still called him a 5-time WWE Champion. But I really don't know how it works, to be honest.

In truth, he actually stopped using the catchphrase "It's True, It's True" months ago.

I mean, you can't copyright Kurt Angle as a character, but the catchphrase can technically make the character... Know what I mean?.. It's a big grey area...

Is it really that big of a deal? Angle was hardly a catchphrase guy like Rock or DX. His main strength was wrestling and the ability to be a goofy face/serious heel. "It's true" isn't going to make or break his character. Though knowing the WWE, they probably trademarked every word Angle ever said on television.

True, but his two catchphrases were "Oh it's true, it's true" and "Three I's: Intelligence, Integrity, Intensity", both being on t-shirts, it's really the only two things that they can really take away from Angle character-wise... It's not gonna take anything away from Angle, but it would prevent, say, a t-shirt being made that reads "Wrestling Machine"... Know what I mean?..

WWE releases Kurt because they believe he's a danger to himself (Or it's mutally agreed upon)
Kurt makes noises about not wanting to upset McMahon by fighting for any other pro wrestling company
Kurt signs for the only company that could be percieved as a threat to WWE
Would anybody expect any different from the company that gave us Team 3D
We should just count outselfs lucky they don't have the olympics trademarked lol

WWE may own it because Kurt put a WWE book out called "It's True, It's True!" So they probably do own it.
