I enjoyed this show, especially The Shield's take on "Eddie's Bedtime Storiez"... {Spoiler}1: Edge & Christian vs. Dudley Boyz vs. Hardy Boyz - WrestleMania X-Seven 2: Razor Ramon vs. Shawn Michaels - WrestleMania X 3: Edge vs. John Cena - Unforgiven 2006 4: The Undertaker vs. Jeff Hardy - RAW July 1st 2002 5: Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero - SummerSlam 2005 6: Money in the Bank Ladder Match - WrestleMania XXIV 7: Edge & Christian vs. Hardy Boyz - No Mercy 1999 8: Eddie Guerrero vs. Rob Van Dam - RAW May 27th 2002 9: The Rock vs. Triple H - SummerSlam 1998 10: Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels - No Mercy 2008 Very solid list, and removing various duplicates allowed other great ladder matches that usually wouldn't get play on lists like this to shine.

Yeah was cracking up at the shield guys reading from the book. This might have been one of their best lists yet.
In terms of actual action could probably have moved 3 and 4 down a bit and 7 and 8 up but really no complaints about the list as a whole

I am disappointed that that ladder match is not there. You know, the one with Stevie Richards... {Spoiler} vs. Terry Funk vs. Sandman at Barely Legal

I was impressed that they acknowledged the fan interfering in the Guerrero/Van Dam match. And I chuckled at the inclusion of "Lita jerking Edge off ... the ladder!"
I thought for sure the match from WM X would make number one. And for purely selfish reasons (because I was there and it was my first time attending a PPV) I was hoping that Michaels/Ramon 2 from SummerSlam '95 would be on there. But a fine list overall.
I also cracked up at The Shield reading Eddie's Bedtime Stories. Honorable mention to Santino for realizing the not-too-subtle meaning of the Terri Invitational Tournament.

Really? I wouldn't have even remotely considered putting Taker/Jeff on the list at all. How on earth did they miss putting the ne plus ultra of ladder insanity that was the Oct. 2002 TLC match on this list? It has a bad rap due to the whole Katie Vick promo that immediately followed on Raw that night, but watching it a few years ago my jaw dropped at the total insanity of that match. I think it won "Best Raw match ever" on the 20th Anniversary Raw show.
As far as this list goes, Razor/Shawn is almost quaint nowadays and as such isn't that crazy. Historic, relevant? Yes. But not really wild enough for this list. I like the rematch better from SS 95. Rey vs. Eddie wasn't even a good match, let alone an all time ladder match. I would have put RVD/Christian from Oct. 2003 on there instead of that one, since it's a far better match (I'd say it is even better than RVD/Eddie).
The first two MITB matches were better than the one at WM 24, but I can sorta see why they wouldn't put the original on there with Benoit's involvement and everything.

Taker vs Hardy is my favorite ladder match. I was starting to get disillusioned at this time, so somehow I recall it just being a typical "smaller guy bumps all around for Taker who no-sells most of the match" deal. Which is why it never really rated with me. I could be wrong and lumped everything with what I remember about UT from this time period together... In your opinion, are any WCW/ECW/other companies whose footage is owned by WWE have anything that would be top 10 material??

Yeah same here. I wasn't watching WCW closely anymore at that point, so the first time I saw it was on the first Ladder Match DVD collection WWE put out. Definitely a pleasant surprise.

Okay...I'm gonna say this. RVD...you are a moron.
No, the match between you and Eddie Guerrero wasn't even close to his first freaking ladder match.
Oh and Rey said the SummerSlam match with Eddie was his first ladder match which is also a lie.

I did a double take when Evan Bourne showed up and commented.. But yeah the 1st MITB match should have been on the lost. The one @ WM24 isn't really one of my faves. I remember liking the one the year before better.
SMH @ Bret Hart complaining that HBK/Razor stole his match

Watching these things confirms to me that either Natalya is doing an awful job at being a corporate shill or that she's just an incredibly lame person (you know, like someone who would take an Art History class to enhance their cultural understandings)

Damn straight. I loved how Santino sold it like he was on a children's show, showing the book cover to imaginary children sitting at his feet. JBL as well... "You get all that, kids?".

Great list! I'd move Cena-Edge a bit lower and replace the WrestleMania 24 MITB with 21's. But overall I'm satisfied.

Regarding the Undertaker/Hardy match, it definitely had fewer bumps than your average ladder match. However, it may have been the most successful at bringing people to the edge of their seats. As most of you know, they did a great job of making Hardy look like a potential winner. Long before his push in 2008, people really thought he could win and they were pulling for him.

I think it was Eddie's first one in WWE though. Had he had any others besides the Syxx match? I always though Rey vs Eddie was Rey's first ladder match though. Which other ones did he have first?

Turns out I was wrong and that was Rey's first ladder match. I thought he had one in Mexico before then. It was Eddie's first WWE Ladder Match, and the Syxx was the only other ladder match he had. But that still counts.

It doesn't bother me at all that they tried to pass it off as Eddie's first (someone else other than RVD said it in the video too), but they actually had a short clip of the Syxx/Eddie ladder match at the beginning of the episode to disprove their own guys, lol
Another fun show though. I always enjoy these, even if I disagree with some/a lot of the lists.
