Tyson Kidd is not looking like a kid no more... Dude stole CM Punk's bags from under his eyes. Interesting to see Ricardo speak as El Local, since it's obviously him. I hope they win the tag belts to change things up. Byron Phillips makes me miss Renee I stand by my belief that Alexa Bliss will coast beyond the rest of the divas to the top of the roster. She is stellar. Loved Breeze & Zayn in the triple threat.

The diva's match wasn't as bad as I expected but they really gave them too much time. Cutting a few minutes off would have made it much more enjoyable, if only because Charlotte seemed kinda lost at the end and just repeated moves.
Buddy Murphy is a name I'll remember, it's a dumb name but I like the guys look. The trunks could do with some work, possibly just wear long tights.
I really don't give a shit about Tyson Kidd and as such, really don't care about his match with Neville. I would have much preferred a face/face matchup with Zayn or a more traditional match with Breeze. I get that he's most likely there in a Finlay role, to fine-tune some guys which probably means that Neville is looked at next as a callup which makes me happy, I just don't care about the match.

NXT has become stagnant since the 2 episodes after Arrival. It's becoming like the main roster if you're not in a main event angle everything else is fodder. Divas match was ok, the triple threat was entertaining and everything else was boring. They should start debuting more gimmicks/wrestlers and maybe sign a few more indy talents.

If there aren't enough guys in developmental ready to perform in front of a camera, I'd honestly like to see them rebuild the lower half of the main roster. Those guys have been screwed over by a lot of the changes since 2012 (3 hour Raw, restructuring NXT into developmental, constant focus on "dream matches") and deserve the chance to prove that they're good wrestlers and showcase their talents.

If all the news of KENTA and Devitt coming, along with Steen, Strong, ACH, Willie Mack, and Romero getting tryouts, all pan out...well, you'll at least get the last bit.

I like what they are doing with Tyson Kidd. They should try and implement more of the forgotten main roster talent and some of the divas (which they do already) and help shape NXT better. It would help those that come in by teaching them the WWE style since they have been in the company long enough. Cut out Main Event and superstars and make NXT live and Smackdown live (keep Smackdown the more wrestling filled show like it is now but live) Unify the midcard titles and make a midcard title for NXT which could get defended every three weeks or so to build up fueds over it.

I don't think they need to go that far. I think making all the shows live will hurt them in the long run the same way the other changes I noted did. If SmackDown goes live, WWE might feel compelled to keep it stacked with stars out of the fear of a ratings drop and no one will get a chance. The move to the network has slightly affected Main Event in a similar fashion, although that show would be actually good for giving the developmental talents the opportunity to work in front of the big arena crowds.

I lke NXT as a whole, but there are a lot of performers I dislike. Like from this episode:
The Ascension Charlotte Alexa Bliss Mongo Rawley CJ Parker (now as an ironic heel!)
All terrible. I guess it comes with the territory, being a develpmental show. It used to feel really stacked, though. Even the guys/girls that aren't awful, a lot of them are quite mediocre, like Big Cass.

The YAAAHS! have made me enjoy Ascension screentime, you never know what new and innovative YAHS! the NXT crowd are going to bust out next.

This was a great episode! This is why I'm an NXT fan! "ONE MORE YAH!" was hilarious. Charlotte is incredibly talented. Mojo Rawley is getting better. I was shocked by Kidd's win, but the main event match was great.
