Call me captain obvious, call me someone who is thinking too much into these things. A lot of people think that Sandows whole "I'm kinda sorta breaking the fourth wall" deal is going to lead to nothing. But in my personal opinion, it is going to lead up to something big. Maybe not Big Summer Angle type big, but something that we can end up appreciating.
It might be a stable, it might be an alliance or just a way to repush them, but Damien Sandow and Alicia Fox are setting up the building blocks for something. They are together on this.
I say this because they both came out of nowhere and got themselves attention on Monday, both have been saying that they deserve better (Sandow: I'm handcuffed! I'm being held back! Alicia: UNDERRATE THIS!) And the similarities in some of the things that they have been saying or doing (Sandow: This is the WWE! We've got to put smiles on people's faces! Alicia: *Sings We Are Family with a forced smile on her face after another loss on Main Event)
I don't know if this has already been at least mentioned, and of course I could be wrong, but this could very well be something that could really take us by surprise. Then again, maybe not, but I hope that my theory is correct, and that it will.

Just like The Miz coming out during random matches and hijacking the announce desk was meant to lead to bigger things? But Sandow will be fine, he'll eventually get a push of some sort, Triple H loves him

Oh, and another similarity that I forgot about: Both don't get the time that they want to speak their mind on the mic, so they are taking matters into their own hands:
Sandow: I had to sneak one of these talking sticks in so that I could speak!
Alicia: CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?!

Here's hoping. A good few guys on the roster could really use a shot in the arm, and a big angle that involves multiple wrestlers getting fed up together could really help.

I think these shooty angles as opposed to a real storyline are just lazy. As entertaining as Alicia is.

Damien Sandow was Magneto
the X-Men films are distributed by 20th Century FOX....
there's a pattern.

Here's my theory
Neither Sandow or Alicia's recent actions will lead to anything.

I really do hope this is going somewhere. Even if the fourth wall stuff can be a bit annoying, an angle designed to put focus on underused midcard/lowcard talent just in time for Summer can't be a bad thing. Honestly, Cody Rhodes should be the leader of the movement.

While I do like certain things about the Authority (mostly just the talent involve, the story's been all over the place), can WWE please just give the whole "management won't notice me, I and other talent are being overlooked" promos and gimmicks a rest already?
Yes, I get you believe you're underutilized, but it's been beaten to death ever since Punk's little meltdown. The Bryan ring hijacking and WM30 win was the natural apex of it, so I'm ready for the younger talent to get different stories outside of that. How about a rivalry rooted around someone pranking another guy in training? If DeMott's up for performing live, an evil bullying trainer would be something fresh and new.
I don't have anything against Sandow or Fox getting pushes, but seriously guys, stop it.

I'm hoping Sandow will continue to reference story-telling techniques used in literature or theatre as that would fit his gimmick.
Next week he'll introduce his version of Checkhov's gun which will be called "Sandow's Chair".

I personally hate this "I'm being held back" gimmick. It just makes whoever does it look like a whiner and 9 times out of 10 if just peters out

Only problem is that these segments happened on the "RAW PreShow" and on a commercial break during RAW on the app. I can't imagine that even 10% of the audience even knows these things happened.

Yeah, the whole "being held back" gimmick has gotten old. it worked with Punk on a meta-wink-wink level, and when they played it straight with Bryan. But if everyone is claiming that theyre held back, then nobody is really being held back.

At least Sandow's Raw and Main Event points were mostly them not booking him so he couldn't even win matches / letting him speak... the Good soldier stuff was flat out stupid...
