Did she even do anything in that film? I guess she caused a bit of tension between Peter and MJ, but besides that.
I mean, people say Venom wasn't used properly, but at least he was used!

She was one of many pointless things in that movie.

Can't we just pretend this, Phantom Menace, X Men: The Last Stand, and Batman & Robin never existed? I sleep better that way.

Listened to the commentary a few weeks back. Apparently, she was supposed to be the chick in peril at the end of the movie. I don't remember why they said they switched it to MJ instead.
Gwen being in danger from Venom would have made more sense though, since they established that Eddie thought he had a sort of relationship with her, and thought Peter stole her.
Edit: I would presume that if they went with whatever the original plan was, Gwen woulda had more of a role in the next one, and maybe there would've been a further romantic triangle or something.

It put Bryce Dallas Howard on screen and I am always down for that. Then again I'm always down for any of the Howards to be on my screen, even Clint.

The weirdest thing is, they had a blonde girl dye her hair red and play Mary Jane as the girl next door (when she was a trendy model in the comics). Then they took a redhead, had her bleach her hair blonde, and play Gwen Stacy as a trendy model (when she was the girl-next-door in the comics).

And do the same in the next series, making a natural redhead a blonde again.

I'm one of the five people that actually liked Last Stand.
Then again, despite my OP, I liked Spidey 3 too.

Emma looks so good as a redhead, we all just assumed that's her natural hair color.
