Do you think Pitch Perfect was deserving of a sequel?

The Karate Kid.
He won the tournament, earned the respect of the Cobra Kai and got the girl.
The end.
That's all that was needed.

Daniel should've been a tougher, more mature, and wiser badass rather than being scared of another sanctioned fight against Cobra Kai karate student. Seriously how does he go from fighting Chozen(who wanted to and literally attempted to kill him) to being afraid of that douche in part 3?

Paranomal Activity. It didn't start the found footage genre, but it made it popular.

The Matrix. Should have been just one movie, would have been much less convoluted, and nonsensical.

My life would be measurably less enjoyable without alcohol fueled passages through the continuity maze that is Saw III through VI.

Highlander. No movie after the first was good, the TV series was mixed reception, and the animated series was just...weird. But they're aliens in hte future now was a brilliant plot point! said no one ever You know what's sad? Highlander 2 was the first one I had seen. It took me years to finally check out the first one. The series was fine, but really would have benefited from spreading the focus onto Methos, Richie, and Ananda instead of focusing so much on McCloud. The series ran too long for that formula to keep working.

Yeah that was ridiculous, if he's facing some random Cobra Kai douche the movie should have lasted maybe 15 minutes. When Barnes and his friends first confronted Daniel, he should have laughed in their faces and mopped the floor with all of them. End the series with 2, Daniel fought for his life and honor, perfect ending.

not really a franchise, but Donnie Darko having a sequel (S. Darko) was pointless

Well, it's brilliant in comparison to "Highlander: The Source", anyway. True, but ANYTHING compared to the source could be considered brilliant Also I thought people thought the 3rd movie was "ok" but not as good as the first one... then again that might have just been their reaction after seeing Highlander 2 And then came Endgame... End the series with 2, Daniel fought for his life and honor, perfect ending. Now I could've bought Daniel training extensively after surviving Chozen and becoming arrogant, overconfident, and a douche in his abilities where the Cobra Kai douche takes him to the limit. But as a whole there's no way he should've been deathly afraid of him in the slightest. I seem to recall Pat Morita and Ralph Macchio(spelling?) stating they didn't care for Daniel becoming a whiney brat.

well good thing this was bumped up so people could add Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix and Highlander, all of which were posted numerous times when this tread was active a year ago
