Geez...pretty much at the same time, Brazil goes up 1 and Mexico goes down 1. I wanted to see the upset (and don't want Chile to hit Brazil again )

Mexico need to just pass the ball around to each other now, just waste time.

I like Uruguay's odds tomorrow. If Luis Suarez can get going, I think they'll be able to outplay the Italians.

Tomorrows Games then
Group C
Colombia vs Japan
Colombia are already through, Just 1 point from this game is good enough to confirm themselves as Winners, For Japan it is a must win, They also got to hope Ivory Coast aren't victorious or their out no matter what. If Greece also win than it goes down to goal difference, Same if they win and Ivory Coast draw.
Ivory Coast vs Greece
A win for Ivory Coast will guarantee their place in Round 2, For Greece it's a must win.. If they can win and Japan don't than they will go through to Round 2.. Goal difference could very be the key factor as to who goes on in Group C
Group D
Uruguay vs Italy
One of these 2 teams is going home after tomorrow, Victory for either said will book their place in the next round, A draw and it is Italy who will continue on, It's a must win for Uruguay.
Costa Rica vs England
Costa Rica are already through and of course as much as I'm sick of hearing about it, England are going home after tomorrow, Costa Rica can guarentee themselves as group winners with either a win or a draw, For England..It's just a case of trying to go out on a high.

The fact that Cameroon scored a goal in this World Cup is a miracle in and of itself.
What is it about Asian and African teams that always look outmatched? Granted, though, if Cameroon, Nigeria, Iran, or South Korea took on any Oceania club (or even an Oceanic All-star team, which'd be 90% New Zealand), I'd pick the non-Oceania team. They are the reason why FIFA makes them have to play an additional qualifier, which New Zealand lost to Mexico, BTW.

Before 2002, you could say the same about North/Central America minus Mexico. As bad as some of those teams might be, they're still much better than themselves ten years ago. I'd actually not include Africa, though, as it looks like 3 (possibly 4) out of the 5 teams will progress from their group, a huge improvement from past World Cups where it was 0 or 1 team progressing. Asia isn't progressing as quickly, but Japan and Australia do look promising. Oceania is basically New Zealand and a bunch of small countries that don't have the size or infrastructure to form a good football team. New Zealand would probably benefit if they followed Australia to Asia and regularly competed with better teams.

In fact, they might as well, since there aren't that many of those countries anyway.

What's on Tap, for Tomorrow then: Columbia vs Japan A must-win for Japan. Columbia is already through, so they may be playing with a Subbed Team, which is great for the Blue Samurai who have everything to lose. A win for Japan wouldn't guarentee that they are in the next round, but it keeps hope alive, and if Columbia is shutting down until it matters, Japan should be able to squeeze by with a win. 2-1 Japan Ivory Coast vs Greece Well, Ivory Coast really just needs to win to advance, and they have all the tools and the ability to destroy this hampered 10 Man Greece Team. Greece is also still mathematically alive, and will be playing to advance, but Ivory Coast just has a lot more man power and a lot more ability then the Greek's do, especially with their crippled team. Ivory Coast should be able to handle this one easy, and if they do, Japan will also most likely be punching a ticket home, even if they win. 3-1 Ivory Coast Italy vs Uruguay If USA's Group is the Group of Death than this is the Group of Near Death. Costa Rica has made this Group a Nightmare, and with it, England is gone, and Italy and Uruguay will be playing to survive. Both beat England, and both lost to Costa, and both have the ability and talent to advance. I believe that it will be a shootout, and it will be a close match, and an exciting high scoring affair, but by days end, only one will go through, and I'm calling for it to be Uruguay. 3-2 Uruguay Costa Rica vs England If Costa Rica wins they will have had one of the most improbable Group Sweeps in this history of the World Cup, if England wins, they go home with some pride despite the Sur Tasste to two close losses. Costa Rica will be playing for bragging rights over the group, and to be the definitive Group Winner, and they have all the tools to do it. England however, is desperately trying to get something. Costa Rica may not be playing with every weapon since they've already advanced, but England may still be in for a match. Calling for a Tie. 1-1 Tie. This will be an exciting Day. A lot to play for, and a lot to lose. There will be Heartbreak and Triumph in every game, and it should be fun to watch!

Can't wait to see what goal celebration the Colombians have up their sleeve this time. They've been the life of the party in that regard so far in this tourney.

Trying to decide whether to watch Uruguay v Italy, which is a crucial game for qualification, or useless England v surprise package Costa Rica in basically a dead rubber. Gotta support your country I guess but watching England is usually like watching paint dry.
