I'm wondering what the Bulls do from here on out. Do they keep the course with Derrick Rose? Or do they just rebuild again like they have for almost the past 15 years?

Since the Pacer fans here wanted Vogel out, do the Thunder fans want Brooks out? He's been a source of polarization at times. I don't. You can't blame coaching when your players make stupid turnovers, that's on them. We give Durant a free pass, but he deserves criticism for falling over his feet like he just learned to take a step. Brooks improved this year, he made adjustments, even when star players weren't injured, that made the team better. Shipping him out for a new coach will only hurt the team, delaying their progress by making them learn whatever scheme the new coach wants to implement. Unless Phil Jackson decides he suddenly wants to relocate to Oklahoma, the Thunder are fine with Brooks. He doesn't deserve to be a scapegoat for this loss.

If they can get a Herschel Walker type deal where a team sees the big name and is willing to give up a shit ton of picks, I'd do it. But he's so beloved in Chicago, growing up in Englewood and all, that if he got traded/released there would be legitimate riots. And I don't mean "people are sad, maybe a jersey or two is burned" riot. I mean "Cops with riot shields going into the murder capital of the world" riots. I'm being completely serious. Shit could get real if they traded him.

OK, I had some time to sleep on it and really think about these NBA Finals. I have come to a new mindset. Since I don't care who wins, I might as well just enjoy whatever they do regardless of who wins.
I'll watch the series and not care who wins, but just watch and cross my fingers it's entertaining regardless of outcome.
Like Spurs/Pistons in 2005- I didn't want both teams to make it, but what's done is done

I love Rose and the city of Chicago idolizes him. I feel like people would riot if he was traded. I don't know what they can do. He's missed the last couple of seasons, and even if we picked up another scorer. That's all for nothing if Rose plays five games and is out again.

I know one certainty in this offseason; Evan Turner's a goner. He never fit in, anyway.
Are there any draft choices in the late first round that they can try?

I know one certainty in this offseason; Evan Turner's a goner. He never fit in, anyway. Are there any draft choices in the late first round that they can try? I honestly wouldn't count the Pacers out of trading up to the early part of the first. The Kings would be a good dance partner with the 8th pick. Something like Hibbert and the Pacers 1st rounder for the 8th pick and Jason Thompson or Derrick Williams. It's a win win for both teams. The Pacers get rid of Hibbert and can draft an impact rookie and get a bit more offense with JT, and the Kings get the defensive minded center to pair with DeMarcus Cousins and get out of JT's contract. Thompson is a decent third big on a contender or occasionally a starter depending on the matchup, but he's redundant with Carl Landry on our roster. DMC says he's more of a natural power forward and would love fo have a guy like Hibbert to play goalie behind him. After looking at it in the trade machine a deal could get done Kings get Hibbert and a future 1st rounder because the Pacers 2014 pick is going to Phoenix The Pacers get the 8th pick, Jason Thompson and the expiring deals of Jason Terry and Derrick Williams to make the salaries match. In Terry the Pacers get a veteran SG which helps because Lance is surely gone and Williams is a good player to take a flyer on. He has talent, but just hasn't been able to put it all together in Minny and Sactown.

And the sniping has already begun. Fully expecting someone with the money to spare in Miami to put up a counter-attack billboard. (Credit SportsNation's Facebook)

Anything Miami responds with should end with the Spurs using that billboard to post the "Fan Up" video on an endless loop.

All Miami needs to do is put up one that says "WE WON."

Built vs. Bought?
Didn't the Pacers try the same thing?

I imagine Sterling did it so he could show his solidarity with "the blacks." To let them know that he has no problem with them except when they go to Clippers games with his ex-girlfriend. Or try to rent out property he owns.

Phil Jackson has been fined $25,000 for tampering with Derek Fisher. In other news, Jackson is a douche.
