Eh...I would have preferred Kirk Hinrich. He just re-signed with the Bulls per David Aldridge. I know. Charlotte couldn't lure him away from Chicago. Which I am fine with. He is a Jayhawk/Bull for life.

Nice off season for the Bulls, even if they didn't get Melo. Just hope that Rose can actually last a season. This team should certainly compete for the top of the East.
Rose / Hinrich Butler / Snell Dunleavy / McDermott Gasol / Mirotic Noah / Gibson

The Heat are reportedly "nearing a deal" with free agent Chris Andersen, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Heat are reportedly "nearing a deal" with free agent Chris Andersen, according to Adrian Wojnarowski. Woj just reported that he's back on a multiyear deal. So with the re-signing of Birdman, and if the possibility of the Heat re-signing Wade and Haslem to new contracts comes true, Miami's potential rotation next year looks like this: C - Bosh/Andersen PF - McRoberts/Haslem SF - Deng/Granger SG - Wade/Napier PG - Chalmers/Cole The Heat can't replace LeBron James, but that doesn't look like a bad line-up to me. At least they won't be out of the playoffs next year.

Went to some of the summer league games today. Andrew Wiggins looked really smooth as a scorer.

The Heat can't replace LeBron James, but that doesn't look like a bad line-up to me. At least they won't be out of the playoffs next year. I actually think Washington could make a run at the Southeast Division crown now that LeBron James went back home. They've got a nice starting five in John Wall, Bradley Beal, Paul Pierce, Nene, and Marcin Gortat, they just need to solidify the roster with capable pieces off of the bench. Not that the team Miami is putting together is a lottery team or anything like that. I think with the return of Dwyane Wade and the addition of a serviceable big man, the Heat could easily be a three- or four-seed in the Eastern Conference.
