That scared me to death. Frankie being HOH again would have been an insane wildcard. Unless Devin wins POV this should be an easy week.
Though how often does that work out?

There's also the BoB to worry about. I guess they can get someone to throw it, though. He won't get nominated immediately. They've talked about back dooring him. There is a scenario where Devin never gets a chance to protect himself. Lots of people left in the house. POV draw is a long shot. If I had to guess I'd say Nicole nominates Amber and Caleb, and Derrick goes for Jocasta and Victoria, and whoever gets POV takes someone down and Devin goes up.

I'd do Brittany and Amber, Jocasta and Victoria. That way you've got a great shot at getting Devin, or plan B Caleb.

{Spoiler}Devin is moping around, but the rest of the house has a much different vibe to it right now. Frankie talking to Caleb, Zach, and Amber about them being able to just relax and enjoy the week now.

For me, this episode was a best case situation. My least favorite HG goes home, and one of my top 5, plus someone I'm starting to come around to, win HOH. Now if Devin goes home next Thursday, it's the best week thus far. And that's saying something, considering this past week.

{Spoiler}Before the feeds came back Devin pulled Derrick aside and asked him to nominate him. He seems to think Derrick is an idiot. Cody and Zach are cracked up by it.

{Spoiler}This week may not be so simple after all. Nicole has her sights set on Caleb and Amber, not Devin.

Like I said, there's no way I'd put Devin or Caleb up from the start. I do some four combination of Jocasta, Amber, Victoria, and either Brittany or Donny. That way if Amber's team loses and Caleb gets picked to be in the Veto, he's fighting like hell to take her off, and then you put up Devin in her place. If Devin gets picked to play in the Veto and wins it and uses it (which doesn't seem likely), then you put Caleb up. The worst case scenario would be Devin or anybody winning the veto and not using it.
But the odds would be entirely in your favor to get Devin or Caleb out.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}So, you ready to hear how good Derrick is? He talked to Nicole about who to nominate, right? Well, they both agreed that Devin is the target and needs to be backdoored this week. Nicole wants to put Amber up for sure, but she doesn't have anyone else she wants up. Nicole is also worried that Caleb will be mad at her for nominating Nicole.
Derrick says he has a plan to prevent Caleb from getting angry with Nicole. Derrick wants to let Caleb know their plan is to backdoor Devin this week, so Nicole's nominations are safe. With that being said, Derrick will let Caleb know that Nicole wants to nominate Amber (Nicole has an excuse since Amber nominated her) and another person, knowing both these people are safe and Devin is the target. Derrick said he thinks if Nicole does nominate Amber, Caleb will offer himself up as one of Derrick's nominees so that he can throw the competition and look like a "knight in shining armor" by saving Amber.
Now, once Caleb throws the competition, he and Derrick's other nominee will remain on the block and Derrick will remain HoH. The plan from there is to hope Devin doesn't get picked for PoV then backdoor Devin. But, if something happens and Caleb remains on the block, Derrick isn't opposed to getting Caleb out as an "accidental casualty."
Now, Derrick puts this plan into motion and lets Caleb know the idea. Derrick tells Caleb, "now, I would never put you up, but if you tell me you want me to put you up so that you can save Amber, then I'll do that, but know that it's a big risk and I wouldn't say I would do it in your shoes." Caleb response is basically, "if she puts Amber up, I want you to put me up so I can throw it."
Like, dude. He's essentially telling Derrick, "put the cuffs on me, boss."
My mind is blown at how good Derrick is.
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Holy genius.

{Spoiler}I went to bed early last night so I spent a couple of hours watching this on flashback this morning. He literally got Caleb to volunteer with minimal effort. Played to his ego, said "that's a ballsy, man move" a few times, and Caleb was totally for it. He WANTED it.
Derrick's only problem is going to be Hayden. Hayden kind of ratted him and the guys out to Nicole later last night and she's not going to fully trust him. I doubt this is leading to anything in the immediate future, but it's something to keep an eye on.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Derick pulled off some masterful stuff with Caleb, but he also made his first huge mistake last night when he inexplicably offered Nicole a final 2 deal. Like... that was just so unnecessary. Those two haven't talked game to each other at all until last night, and first night he offers her a final 2? Anyone with half a brain (let alone a Big Brother fan) would tell you that there's no way either of them would honor that deal, and he really underestimated Nicole there. It just made him look extra shady to her, and Hayden definitely facilitated that line of thinking.
Oh, and the way he kept insisting that the Bomb Squad wasn't a real alliance. Just own up to it.

{Spoiler}Caleb and Jocasta were nominated by Derrick, and Amber and Donny were nominated by Nicole. All going according to the backdoor plan so far.

{Spoiler}Team America has their first task. They have to convince three people to spread a rumor that one of the houseguests is related to a former BB player. They're going with Zach being Amanda's (BB15) cousin.

{Spoiler}Poor Donny has become too paranoid about the Bomb Squad and is overstepping a little bit. He got put up instead of Victoria because he pushed Nicole to put up Devin, Christine, and someone else at one point. People are realizing he talks more than he lets on.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}I feel like Derrick is kind of overrated at this point since everywhere people seem to think he is the favorite to win it all. The game is not won in the 2nd and 3rd week it's a grind. He is too hands on like Amanda last year. The key to BB is not dictating the boot but having relationships with everyone or almost everyone in the house. His game is a lot closer to what Judd and Amanda were doing at this point last year and less like Andy.

{Spoiler}Amber and Donny won BoB. Derrick is sole HOH for the week, and Nicole must wear a frog costume until Thursday.
