I just finished part 1 with Heyman and Edge. Yes, that was the best podcast yet. Indubitably. I just started part 2. Edit: I ****ing hate Egypt. Worst character ever. So true, that was excellent stuff.

Listened to the interview with Zack Ryder... I'm glad he doesn't seem to be too bitter at the moment about how his push went down, but I guess everyone's just waiting for him to not be on contract before he lets loose with the shooting.

Zack Ryder was good. "I'm like the cockroach of the WWE."
Also a great story about when Jericho punched Ryder. It's funny that Jericho didn't like Ryder at first.

I haven't heard it yet, does he gives hints about his future? How can he not be frustrated?

I haven't heard it yet, does he gives hints about his future? How can he not be frustrated? Not really. Honestly, his tumble down the card does kinda get glossed over a bit. But he does mention that he was just too willing to go with whatever they gave him to work with at the time of the Kane/Cena/Eve angle, and that he is aware of his later reputation of being a bitter crybaby about things and didn't want to be like that anymore (its why he stopped doing those "Last Rezort" videos).

It's the most likeable Zack has been in a while, that's for sure. Always liked the guy, but the "work hard, ride it out" attitude he has now is really the attitude he should have taken up once it became obvious how much he'd been screwed over by the booking.

^i hope this means people won't hate Zack anymore. Indeed. I don't blame him for feeling bitter after what happened, but there comes a point where you have to accept things, pick yourself back up, and keep on moving. Seems even Zack agrees he took a little too long to get to that stage.

I'll just throw this out there,
I like Fozzy's cover of ABBA's "S.O.S."
Cooler still, my mom likes it also.

No word of a lie, this song has finally sold me on Fozzy. It shouldn't work. But it does. Oh so very well. I just happened to be talking with Mom with his podcast running to bring that up, it had disaster written all over it. "I want to find this song just because it sounds like something with a 'gotta be so bad it's good' quality." Lo and behold, while Mom was mentioning that she "can't hear that song without thinking of 007" (Pierce Brosnan was in "Mamma Mia!"), it started playing. I may actually buy this record. They have good stuff, but nothing ever stood out as "I have to get this" until now. (Zack bringing up he saw "Rocky" on Broadway, and the guys secret love of boy bands. Another oddball bizarro moment for sure.)

Chael Sonnen is this week's guest, just found out his name was supposed to be Michael Sonnen but his parents didn't like the sound of Mike as nickname, so they took the first three letters and named him Chael lol, its also nice to confirm that he's a huge fan, he even cried when Demolition cheated and beat the babyfaces

He also went to the power plant training school in wcw, with sarge as a trainer, where he made guys do squats until they quit, Chael passed the test, but at the time 1999-2000 he was considered a small guy, they wanted him to be like a rey misterio jr cruiserweight wrestler, they also offered him to take him to gymnast classes so he could learn how to do the flips, he didn't liked that becasue he wanted to be like a Hulk Hogan old school wrestler and feed from the crowd, when he was suppose to return to the company, it closed according to him. Whoa I just popped thinking about Chael wrestling a piñata on a pole match with Juventud Guerrera, wonder if Russo would've give him a fake mexican masked luchador gimmick

So I'm listening to the show and Chael mentions how 2 days after his suspension the WWE call and tells him they arn't interested and explains if he was 10 years younger he would be getting a dump truck full of money to his front door right now. However he claims that the WWE executive that called said "however if TNA offer you anything we are back in the game".
For all this time the claim has been that WWE doesn't even think of TNA however this goes against that. I wonder what else WWE has done like this to cut the knees of TNA

The new one that just came out is fascinating because Bray Wyatt calls in and he and Jericho actually cut promos on each other in character on the podcast. That's different.

Bray calling in was awesome! I feel like they should have not spoiled it in the Podcast description but hey.
