I enjoyed the first few months, until he became a generic heel authority figure.

Schmucky middle management Ace was the best, the not evil but just a bit useless who wants support guy!
I hated when they had people like Punk pretending his career sucked as he wasn't Animal. Felt so naff, Ace had a great career in Japan and even if he was goofy in WCW he wasn't bad etc.
Then he was turned into Vince Jnr. Ugh.
Bring back feelgood Ace!

This is seriously one of my favorite things ever.
"I am in control of all WWE talent." *grin*
"Shane Douglas and I were really on the cutting edge of what today's entertainment really is. I mean we carried skateboards..."

I've had it up to my gills with the gaudy, anvilicious evil authority (now being portrayed by the Corporate Rehash - aka, coincidentally enough, "the Authority"). After countless reiteration of the mustache twirling evil boss, Laurinaitis was such a flipping breath of fresh air, up until they genericized him too and made him Evil Boss #371. Let's bring back John Laurinaitis - the OLD John Laurinaitis!

I loved Big Johnny. He could have been GM forever and I'd be fine with it.

Remember his cameo at Survivor Series 2013? That was fun.

The clueless Ace who may or may not have been evil but not overtly so was hilarious. The one that just beat up Cena was f***ing awful.

Awful. Not so bad he was good, just bad. Yeah, that. Useless middle-management, Lumberg-esque Johnny Ace was alright, but once he became Generic Heel Authority Figure #104, I quickly lost interest.

Never have I gone from unadulterated hatred to pure sympathy and appreciation like when Johnny Ace switched from Ultimate Newz Villain to on-screen character.

Long as he's not in charge of hiring divas again Getting hired the Big Johnny way: to get the job you had to do the job to Little Johnny...

I'll never forget someone hitting the off switch on him before Punk hit a GTS. Maybe the worst on air personality in WWE history.

I'll never forget someone hitting the off switch on him before Punk hit a GTS. Maybe the worst on air personality in WWE history. ? Though to be fair, he was the worst in WEDF history. And I thought Big Johnny's sucking was part of his charm. His gimmick was that he was a dipshit who shouldn't be in charge but is and, like most wrestling characters, he didn't need to stretch that far for his character. I agree with everyone that he sucked at the end. The go-home promo to that PPV match he had with Cena had me cringing so hard I had to take a shower.
