How bad ass would it have been if Taka and Sasuke decided to do business with ECW in stead of WWF? Imagine Taka and Sasuke mixing it up in those matches with Tajiri, Crazy and Guido? Also Taka and Sasuke vs Van Dam, Sabu, Jerry Lynn, etc...
Holy crap that would have been awesome. Also, that would have probably meant more Michinoku Pro guys including the rest of Kaientai in an ECW ring.

I miss Tajiri, he was badass even early on. And those Bam Bam/Taz matches were always brutal and always fun to watch. The last live show I ever went to was ECW during the Bam Bam period. Seeing him in person makes you realize just how massive the guy was and how impressive his agility was too. |

Mike Awesome ruled. Even as a kid who rooted for all the faces and hated the heels he was one of the guys I was most excited to see come over during the Invasion angle. Really sucks when personal problems get the best of anyone. I so wanted to see Mike Awesome vs Kane at the time |

Seeing some of these gifs from Barely Legal really make me wonder what they were thinking in terms of the lighting that day. Obviously they decided they needed more lighting than they previously used in the ECW Arena, but which genius decided the most well lit portion of the building on the PPV should be the 5th row of fans, rather than any portion of the ring itself? Jeez. |
