Soooo {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}No sneak peak at Age of Ultron? Sadly no, but I saw someone online suggest that the post-credits scenes throughout Phase 2 are meant to be more personal because it's the calm before the storm of the war in Age of Ultron. Now that you mention it, that does make sense. Every post credit scene we've watched had more of an amusing, character building, and darker concept compared to the first ones during Phase 1. However, it's very disappointing that Marvel hasn't released or didn't include the Age of Ultron trailer into GOTG. But then seeing as it's GOTG and none of the Avengers show up in that film I guess I can understand it. Just makes for some hilarious interactions when Stark and Rogers meet Rocket and Groot.

So apparently several theaters are f***ing up big time and are playing Rise of the Guardians instead.

A quick review; {Spoiler}{Spoiler}A great film, not the best Marvel film but still really good.
The cast was perfectly picked, Chris Pratt as Star Lord and Batista as Drax (he can act, thanks WWE) are prime examples. The film is a mixture of the serious Marvel tone we've come to know and love with all out jokes galore, unfortunately, some fall a little flat.
As for the end credits scene, pretty to say WTF really loud as I did because I never expected it coming.
All in all, I will give it a solid 8/10.

10/10, best Marvel film made yet. I don't really need to say much but the obvious direction of Avengers 3 is making me lose my mind considering Thanos is my favorite.

Several people on twitter reported that their screenings got the wrong Guardians Guess that's what happens when you go to a Movie Theater owned by Dixie Carter.

Just saw it. Two years of waiting, twelve dollars to see it and a shorn Karen Gillan.
Totally worth it!

The movie was great. Marvel has picked up the pace since Thor 2 and Iron Man 3. Guardians by far is my favorite Disney/Marvel movie.

I saw it and loved everything about it. I think Avengers is still the best Marvel film but this was a blast to watch.

My verdict? Really fun, great character development. You know you did something right when the characters that the public probably would roll their eyes at the most - Drax, Rocket and Groot - steal the movie. HUGE kudos to Lee Pace as Ronan, who really honestly just nailed the character. Say what you will about the Marvel movies, they do villains right.
If I had to rank it, for me personally... middle of the pack with the Marvels, about on part with TDW but ahead of IM2, but behind TFA. Repeat watchings may improve it though.
Bottom line - see it, you'll enjoy it.

Saw it tonight. Absolutely loved it. Really enjoyable and fun. My only real complaint: {Spoiler}{Spoiler}I thought it did a very poor job of establishing Thanos. He came off as a very ineffectual leader. Just didn't seem very imposing. I am sure his next appearance will fix it, but in this movie, he just didn't seem overly important. I guess I expected him to be a more menacing villain. Just seemed like everyone was super quick to double cross him, which given how powerful he is, should be a huge mistake. Not something characters do on a whim.

He doesn't have the gems, er, stones yet. He's really powerful; but not "gauntlet" level. Ronan woulda cowered away from him if he didn't have the stone.
