Go go Iowa!
Looks accurate too. It's hard to be unemployed unless you act like too much is beneath you or you are stuck in a dead-end town. The last economic development meeting I was at, they were actually complaining we don't have a big enough work force in the area. My county is considered to have about an 8% underemployment. That basically means 8 out of 100 jobs has been sitting unfilled for over 6 months.
The only reason Iowa has long working hours as a whole is I'm sure farmers that work 14+ hours a day raise the average a ton, but that's a lifestyle.
Hell, I live in a county that doesn't even have 1 stoplight, so I can't even bitch about traffic.
I imagine Florida is #1 because you have a 5% chance of being killed in hilarious fashion every day you step foot on the street. Will it be Bath Salt Zombies today? Perhaps Alligators that are all hopped up on drugs from eating junkie hobos? You just never know!

Ohio is 25. That's how old I am. I think I'm getting an ulcer.

Georgia - 2.
From living here, I can completely understand why.

#28.
But that's from a state that openly rejects new ideas.

So who would have the thought the state where all those ridiculous news stories come from would be the most stressed in the country?

Michigan is no. 1 in unemployment all we get is a lousy 22? Did the lower numbers cost more?

I can see why everyone in California would be stressed, but it has the opposite effect on me. I just let everything go.

Oh, there are 2 ties. Good. I was beginning to think someone didn't remember our national acquisitions of 1958 and 1959...

34th. That's a bit odd considering nature itself tries to kill us daily.

Maryland ranks in at #8. It'd be in the 30's if not for the City School system.
