Don't be in a rush to congratulate them, Art. I heard that someone she sat next to on a flight in 2009 broke into her house and warned her out of the kindess of her heart to leave her fiancee because they knew for a fact he would only lead her to misery cos he didn't say thankyou when they opened a door for him once... and she called the police on them, filed a restraining order and married him anyway! What a stupid bitch. I give it three months I wish I had a dollar for every time a poster thought he was funny by taking a potshot at me by exaggerating and stripping of all context something I said in a different thread. I shit you not, I could by buy dinner for my whole family at Fogo de Chao with the money, and then still have enough left over for the tip. All this despite the fact that the sniping is a blatant violation of board rules. I know, man, my bad. I just thought it a bit of a double standard congratulating one person you don't know for their marriage and calling another person you don't know stupid and immature for marrying someone cos someone you sort of know, who also sort of knows her, warned her away from her husband who they barely know, if at all. And that's as far as I'll take it.

I've never heard anything but good stuff about Kaitlyn. She does nothing for me in the looks department and I wasn't a fan of her wrestling but she was alright. Nothing bad, to be sure. And she's apparently pretty cool.
I'm other words, I like Kaitlyn a lot more than I like AJ, so...yes, of course I'm going to have something nicer to say.

Or you could just refrain from posting harsh, judgemental things throwing baseless, strongly-worded accusations at someone you don't even know just cos you don't think she's a good wrestler and you've tenuous knowledge of her, understandably, telling a fan to butt out of her personal life. How much you 'like' someone has f*** all to do with it if you don't know them personally. I've never enjoyed Brie Bella as a performer and I think she comes across as obnoxious in interviews, but I don't doubt or begrudge her having a happy marriage with Daniel Bryan. A potentially-embellished story of Bryan telling a long-term fan of his where to go when they told him she was bad news would not even begin to change that. I'm not almost certain she'll break his heart cos she doesn't seem like a nice person from the VERY limited knowledge I have of her personality.

Oh no. She's married now so we somehow have even less chance than the zero percent we already had before in having sex with them/ being in a relationship with them.
It reminds me of this stupid gossip article I read recently about lesbians in Hollywood titled: "Sorry, boys, they're gay!" Like any of our cocks give a shit about who they're dating when we jack off to them, or them being straight would make a difference in, you know, dating a famous millionaire.

If we ever find out Brad Maddox is dating someone we'd have to put this board on suicide watch He's supposedly dating Paige. Fixed for FAN relevance. Same number of people just went on the watch. But the watch didn't count for the 240 additional others. They're dead now.

Hey, I'll have you know that me and Kaitlyn had a very intimate candle lit dinner at a black tie restaurant! Ok, ok it was a very intimate candle lit black tie twitter exchange. Ok, ok it was a very intimate black tie twitter exchange by laptop-screen light, black tie dress code. Ok, ok it was a twitter exchange where I happened to be wearing a tuxedo by laptop light. Ok, ok I was wearing my underwear. Ok, ok all I was wearing was a thin coating of baby oil. Ok, ok, it was butter.

I didn't say I wanted AJ's marriage to fail or anything. I don't live in a lava-filled cave plotting how I can undermine the lives of various foolish mortals. But I don't like her based upon her wrestling, character, and her playing the Tokugawa card with a bunch of people based on opinions on one thing that they shared with her. Anyway, this isn't the AJ thread. I wasn't talking about AJ. You're railroading this topic into something that is destined to not turn out well, and broke a board rule about how you conduct yourself with other posters. Can you just drop it already?

That, and it's not like they're getting married for an excuse to f*** (at least, not as far as I know). They're getting married due to compatibility with one another, or something like that. Meanwhile, all we know is "Well, damn, she's hawt" which doesn't make a whole lot for marriage value in and of itself.

Fine, consider it dropped. I didn't mean to attack you personally, and maybe I was being a bit childish in my first response to you in this thread here, and for that I apologise. I just thought you were way out of line with the way you worded your initial post (in the pregnancy thread), and the responses from other people suggested I was far from alone.

I know it's a formality, but why do people knee-jerk say things about people they don't know or have ever met with "Good luck!" or "Congrats". I'm a complete misanthropic asshole, so the truth is, while I enjoyed Kaitlyn at her former profession, I truly do not care or even think about her getting married or whatever. It's meaningless to me. It has nothing to do with me, and benefits me in no way, and I don't know her at all and thus have no discernible emotional connection (unlike I would with a friend) to her nuptials and success therein whatsoever. To me, it'd be like congratulating her on eating or having a shit. It's happening with or without my blessing, she's not aware of it, and I'm inconsequential to the whole thing anyway. I know people are just hard-wired to do it, but to me, it's just silly.

Fans love everything one of their idols does in their personal life (that sentence sounds awful, I'm sorry) and truth be told I'd rather see them say "good luck, I'm happy for you" as opposed to the usual "WHAT A WHORE BITCH I HATE THAT BASTARD WHO MARRIED MY GIRL GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!" Of they just might be sad, insecure individuals whose only joy in life is obsessing over their sex goddess. Either one works.

Congrats. I'll still be including her in lesbian fanfics, however. Won't let this stop me from fantasizing.

I'm of the same mind, but I also include when people just put "Rest in Peace" in death announcement threads, or more specifically, add (RIP) after the name of someone who's dead when writing about them. They're dead, you're not communicating with the bereaved, no need to "pay your respects" every single time you type their name.

People who are easiest offended usually deserve to be. Who gives a shit, honestly.
