It is possible to be in a place where Internet 3G and 4G works, but you are out of cellular range. In a cave though? No way. I'll admit I haven't exactly tested it out for myself.

It's been a couple of days and no sign of the Mad Ox.

If he is stuck, it's pretty f***ed up that everyone thinks it's a work, but I guess it comes with the territory.
If this is a work though, it's still pretty f***ed up to mess with everyone like this.

Maddox comes back with an Iron Man gimmick having successfully built a suit with a box of scraps.

If it were real, it'd be a nightmarish scenario. Nobody believing you because you work in a field where you lie for a living. Does he look like a guy who's spent a week in a cave in the video?

So Brad Maddox is stuck in a cave with a cell phone that has enough battery to last over a week without dying

So Brad Maddox is stuck in a cave with a cell phone that has enough battery to last over a week without dying Maybe he had a backup battery with him (though his ability to find it and properly install it in the perfect darkness of a cave would be limited). Maybe he turned his phone off for extended periods in case nobody came after his initial call for help. I can think of explanations for his story that has more holes than Swiss cheese. I just don't get the point of making weirdly realistic videos about dying in a cave and urging people to call 911. It's kind of a crime, on the one hand, which could get him fired. It'll only tick off any fans he already has and it really hasn't given him any kind of buzz with wrestling fans or wrestling news sites. His cries for help, fake or otherwise, have been pretty much ignored. So what's the point? It's just weird.

You scoff now, but when Maddox is revealed to have regressed to his instincts and debuts as the animalistic monster heel "The Mad Ox" you'll change your tune.

Is he still dating Paige? (Though that might have been a rumor) She'd be quite the bitch to not tell people "No, really, he's going to die if no one helps him."

I'll sing his praises, because that will at least mean he didn't die in some godforsaken gave in Mexico. This also means that the party he's with is trapped and possibly dying as well, since they haven't alerted nearby authorities.

He looks grubby and has a beard. I dunno, I just don't wanna write him off quite yet, lest I feel awful later. I'm reminded of just after Benoit died, some dude went on for ages that it was a work until it was reported on the news that he was in fact dead, and had killed himself and his family. T'was really awkward and he had to go back and edit all his posts, but the damage was kinda already done.

Given the last person to create a stir with YouTube videos he's just getting acclimatize'd in preparation.

This goes on for another two weeks before somewhere behind him, Triple H opens the broom closet and Maddox scurries away into the dark.
