Sort of. The Network schedule page lists tonight's airing as a "sneak peek" at WWE's new show. CFO George Barrios said the show will start airing regularly in the fall. It makes sense that it will be starting up when they get to that point in RAW history with how they've been putting those up in order. Gives me some time to get caught up with my PPVs and Clashes that I'm watching in chronological order. I'm on Halloween havoc '92 right now.

Yeah, they just started 1995, I'd imagine when they get to September they'll start adding Nitros too.

It's the first 13 episodes (1985-1987) that are up.

I love the opening promos of the old SNME events.

Looking through the list of episodes, this wasn't a regular show. Is it in the same vein as WCW's Clash Of The Champions? PPV quality matches on free TV?

Animotion dubbed in by the 1989 theme Which, I don't really mind. I enjoy that theme better than Obsession. It got me more pumped for the show than a song about stalkerish love.

Animotion dubbed in by the 1989 theme Sad, but expected, and they could have done worse. (that song IS just as good as the Obsession instrumental) What do they do to replace "Take Me Home"?

I heard a rumor that Monday Night War was debuting tomorrow as well? Anyone else here this? Sort of. The Network schedule page lists tonight's airing as a "sneak peek" at WWE's new show. CFO George Barrios said the show will start airing regularly in the fall. A press release they put out talking about Free Trial week said MNW is starting in August and it'll be a 20 episode series. Also, disappointed that they didn't include The Main Event specials as well. Hopefully those are up fairly soon when the rest of SNME goes up

It sucks not having the Animotion intro but I'm already through episode 4 and seeing these on the Network is f-ing glorious!

(that song IS just as good as the Obsession instrumental) What do they do to replace "Take Me Home"? a soundalike called "Take Me, Hulk" true story, I didn't listen to music when I was a kid. so the first time I heard that on the closing credits I thought they were singing "Take Me, Hulk"

I thought JYD got changed awfully quick after his match on the first show...

I think it's episode 11 that aired on the night I was born (5/2/87), so I kind of want to watch that one first.

Watching the first one for the first time ever and holy hell, the crowd loved JYD. I was a big fan as a kid, but I never realized how over he was.

Whelp, I'm just gonna put my feet up and enjoy this. SNME was THE show I wanted when the Network launched, so I am happy as a clam. Everything else is going to be gravy.
Well, until Nitros and The Main Events are added. And Superstars. And Prime Time. And Shotgun. And Saturday Night.

Starting at 8 PM this Saturday, the Network is running a--wait for it!--Saturday Night's Main Event marathon.

By the way, explaining to my other half about the Piledriver video (SNME episode 4) and her pointing out the homoeroticism that 13 year old me didn't catch, well, that was a fun conversation.

I loved Saturday Night's Main Event! I remember Saturday Night Live would be on three Saturdays a month and SNME would take the other Saturday spot which is saying something since SNL was in it's heyday then.
