And this is where Toronto loses the division and will probably miss the playoffs.

And this is where Toronto loses the division and will probably miss the playoffs. And Mets fans continue to be pissed about trading away the best pitching prospect in baseball 10 years ago. Granted he had injury issues a few years ago, but every ounce of success Kazmir has, has to be twisting the knife. It's awesome to see he's bounced back from his injuries.

Trevor Rosenthal blew his fourth save of the season Saturday in the Cardinals' loss to the Marlins. And he blew the shutout and almost the game on Friday. This guy...

Mariners scored on a ground rule double. 3-2. Wild pitch by Belisario caused the runner to advance to 2nd. No wild pitch, no run on the ground-rule double. Sucks for Quintana also, another great game negated by another no-decision. He worked his tail off for the win, which they actually held in the top of the 9th.

I had to go to the bathroom during that part so I missed to wild pitch, hence why I didn't cover it :S

So as a Nats and O's fan...quite surprised the O's are in first place. The starting pitching is horrendous, and I'm not entirely sure what they can do on the trade market to get some help. I don't know that they can keep this up without bringing in reinforcements.
Nats were in first place for like 2 days and then the Braves started a 9 game winning streak. Nats are basically at full health but they are dicking around and losing to the Cubs, so we'll see what happens. The O's and Nats actually face off next week for 4 games and don't play the Braves until early August.

I guess they couldn't get a trade with that contract. I feel bad for Soriano because he had a great season last year and was a huge reason why the Yankees were even competitive. But he's been horrendous this year.

Mets won the series with the Rangers. Not a big accomplishment but eh, it's something.
Know this team isn't going to contend this year but hope they pick up a shortstop for now. The future looks good shortstop wise (Rosario, Guillorme, Cecchini, and maybe Reynolds) but now we need someone a bit better.

I would say the fans just about got it perfect with the American League starters. The only exception was in choosing Matt Wieters over Salvador Perez, but at the end of the day, Perez will start due to Wieters' injury, so it all evens out.
EDIT - And the National League fans kind of dropped the ball by selecting Yadier Molina, Chase Utley, and Aramis Ramirez as starters.

Glad to see Delin Betances make the team as a reliever. He deserves it.
