You know the game isn't close when the announcers start talking about the Batman v. Superman movie that's being filmed in the area.

David Price has given up 9-straight hits to the Yanks this inning. He has been taken out in a chorus of boos. Good, cause them Mariners didn't have an easy night either, with E-Ram conceding 10 runs in less than 3 innings. Good thing he probably won't start another game this season.

Jesus Montero gets in "altercation" with a Mariners scout who apparently had an ice cream sandwich sent to Montero in the dugout during a minor league game.
Montero threw the sandwitch at him

White Sox magic number is at 4 wins. If they can win just 4 lousy games, they will already have passed last year's total of 63.
(It's a start. Also, they aren't the worst in the AL in errors, although they are probably the worst when it comes to errors at a crucial time in the game.)

Man, Javier Baez is K machine. He's got the golden sombrero for the fourth time already. It's one thing to hear about his struggles, it's another to actually match them. Massive contact issues. He's always had a terrible K rate and his BB/K rate has always been terrible too. That said he's got all world power potential. Problem is that's about all he brings. Brings a little speed too, but you can't steal first. I know he's young but he's got young Mark Reynolds written all over him. After watching him play the last month, I will say the strikeouts are very frustrating. But he's always struggled at first every time he his promoted. He needs to adjust, and I think he will. But he will be a high strikeout guy. Most home run hitters are. But he does have all the potential in the world to be a great player. As does Soler and Bryant. If things pan out *knocks on wood* the Cubs with Rizzo, Castro, Baez, Bryant and Soler are going to be a scary offensive power.
