I am rooting with ever fiber in my being for KC to win tonight. Time to see if Big Game James lives up to his name. I want to see KC win, too. If only to see the much vaunted "Baseball Guru" Billy Beane's team fail to do anything meaningful in October yet again. Pretty much my reasoning. For all the praise and fellatio by the baseball writers and analyist, Billy Beane has won absolutely nothing.

I'm rooting for KC tonight for a couple of reasons. One is because it would just be great to have a team that's failed so long to have success. And I also just think it would be funny to see Oakland go all in and crash and burn.
Let's get that Kansas City and Pittsburgh World Series!

Pretty much my reasoning. For all the praise and fellatio by the baseball writers and analyist, Billy Beane has won absolutely nothing. He turned the A's in a perennial winner and changed the way stats are looked at. With a best selling book and a movie made about him he has clearly accomplished a lot. Though I really want his team to lose tonight and will be crushed if they win.

Well that was horrible but the Royals still have the whole game to get those two runs back.

For what it's worth, I think referring to the Wild Card game as "the playoffs" is the lamest thing ever. If you ask me, the Kansas City Royals haven't ended their postseason drought. If they win tonight, then they have, but if not, they're just playing game 163.

Dang it Butler.

Considering how well Jon Lester pitched for the Red Sox during their run to the World Series last October, that may have been Kansas City's best, and only, chance.

This game is rattling Billy Beane's philosophy that you can win 12 1-0 games en route to a World Series championship.

Every time they show Bob Melvin, you can see his soul die just a little more.
