The Royals are only two wins away. As amazing as winning it at Kaufman would be I hope that win. It in San Frisco.

I'm of two minds about the Maddon news.
On the one hand, he's done everything he could with a team that has a modest budget and has found itself trading away some of its best players.
On the other, Maddon is presumably going to cost somebody else his job. Only the Twins are currently without a manager and it's safe to assume that he's not going there. That means that any team to pick up Maddon will be firing somebody to hire him.
The Dodgers are the obvious likely suitors considering the Friedman connection, but all reports point to Mattingly returning.
So perhaps this isn't the best time for Maddon's exit.
