Didn't really care for it, but I do like the idea of pushing D-Von as a singles wrestler.

Didn't D-Von team with Faarooq for a short time before or after this? And I'm sure they paired Bradshaw and Bubba on RAW to battle the NWO or Unamericans?
Split two great teams to make two suck teams.

I remember him and Batista put Bubba Ray through a table at Judgement Day 2002 which Bubba Ray then seemed to completely forget about as they never feuded.

^And Randy Orton teaming up with different tag partners against them only to get squashed as soon as Batista got in the ring.

I vaguely remember D'Von using this gimmick when he started in ECW, fueding with Buh Buh Ray before they became a team. He obviously pitched it as idea when they had the brand split. I liked it and it could have gotten much further than it did, but I guess they had bigger things for Deacon Batista.
I also love that he has a pinfall victory over HHH.

The main thing that I remember is him going on about how sinful masturbation is only for Faarooq to say "I'm about to get real sinful on your ass!" ...and then they started teaming together...

I loved when he did the Bankhead Bounce to his theme when he walked to the ring. EDIT: Actually he did it at the end of his matches. Here's one if you haven't seen it after he beats Val Ven... I mean the big Valbowski www.youtube.com/watch?v=BG6OW28AL3k

Honestly Reverand D-Von is just one of those gimmicks that I have forgotten happened over years.
But I guess that is a natural reaction where you have a two black men have a mini feud over pros and cons of wanking.

I love that Batista debuted as a random goon to beat guys who try to steal D-Von's collection box. I'll never forgot that one time a fan attempted to steal the box, only to trip over in the crowd and get his ass kicked by Batista. Was hilarious. Any video links, or know what episode it was on? I'm getting no results.. :/

I remember him and Batista put Bubba Ray through a table at Judgement Day 2002 which Bubba Ray then seemed to completely forget about as they never feuded. Yep. And they reunited at Survivor Series 2002. What makes it more headachey is the night before the ppv, Reverand D-Von sqaushed John Cena on Velocity. Talk about rebooting. Too bad, as I was looking forward to the potential fued between the 2 Dudleys.

Reverend Dvon was awesome. That's also probably one of my top 10 favorite themes ever
