The Cuffed in a Cage match from Lockdown 2008. I genuinely have a hard time believing that a human being came up with such a horrifying concept for a match. There were a few of those matches in late WCW. It's what happens when you let Russo create gimmick matches.

The dangerous pit.
Ref distractions in cage matches.
DQs in casket matches.

The concept was actually very similar to a War Games rip-off that SMW did back in the 90's. It was included, joined in progress, as an extra on the WWE's War Games Blu-Ray. It was an overbloated mess of a match that was impossible to follow, but did feature a pre-ECW Taz. Wait, was Jim Cornette in TNA when Cuffed in a Cage happened? Because that might explain things. While Russo likes his poles, Cornette favors the handcuffs... man, where's Sigmund Freud when you need him?

Let's just cut it short and say 3/4ths of the things they've done.

WCCW did a variation in Dallas called the Thunderdome, where you pin your opponent and he gets cuffed. Once all members of the losing team are handcuffed all of the winning team are released and they get to beat up the helpless losing team for like five minutes.

I remember, Homicide's failure to escape from the cage was the first TNA show I'd watched in ages. Was depressing to watch him struggle so much, then have Hardy just show up and be like "Yup, I'm Jeff Hardy" whilst sitting on the cage.
Also, Hardy's match against Sting. Again, I'd lapsed on watching TNA, decided to tune in for that one. Jesus, I have shitty luck when it comes to watching TNA.

Dixie's "motivational speech" to the roster. What the hell were they thinking with that?

There was that triple threat that was a triple count-out? Or was it triple DQ? Either way, what.

Is this just TNA or all wrestling companies?
In WCW it was the David Arquette world title reign. I was honestly sorry I watched WCW and didn't watch Nitro again after that.
In WWE Triple H's 20 minute "I'm better than everyone" promos that started every RAW. Again I was sorry I gave McMahon ratings and haven't watched RAW since. I was still rather bitter over the Invasion angle. To Vince: F*** me for being a WCW fan huh, well F*** You and that bad joke you call a wrestling company!
And finally TNA: Hulk Hogan needing to be on TV in 900 segments per impact and everything needing to either involve him or be all about him, even at the expense of the champion Austin Aries. Also the Fail Sabin saga. DOnt forget Eric Young, world champion! I haven't watched Impact once since he won the belt.

I mention in the OP that the same goes for other companies, but given the Homicide cage moment, I wanted to make the thread for here.

The Piper-Russo shoot, like Roddy didn't care about being booked again, it was similar to the Doug Summers "Jerry Lawler raped a 13 year old". Match wise, the last rites between Sting and Abyss, someone mentioned the electrified steel cage, I noticed that every time tna dims the lights the match is the worst of the year.

You know, I always imagined Jackie Gayda showing up at a random TNA show and revealing the tape showed Jarrett conspiring with Hogan and Bischoff to create Immortal and steal TNA from Dixie Carter a whole five years before it happened and four years before Hogan and Bischoff even debuted in TNA. Dixie would be like "do you know how many problems you could've save me by just showing this to me?". What do you guys think? Too "Hornswoggle is the Mystery GM"?
