On my site I write a series called 25 and Under where I write about one match featuring a wrestler (or wrestlers) 25 and Under for each entry. Recently, I've been trying to watch more and more clips and events from outside the United States and have come across some remarkable talent I may have not found otherwise. In this vein I was wondering what other talent is out there? Not just young talent or foreign talent, but talent in general. The less you've seen talked about them the better as I'd love to find out about some wrestlers I otherwise would have never heard of. But don't feel the need to just be super obscure because I think this thread could also be fun for people just getting into indie wrestling. As for my contribution I'll give you three to start. James Raideen: A pretty big guy by indie standards. He literally just debuted for FIP, but has been wrestling for ZERO 1 in Japan for years. Write-up: bit.ly/1kij7NFRam-C: I don't think he has wrestled outside of Chile yet, but he's had some good matches there. I'd really love to see him perform elsewhere, perhaps for a big lucha promotion like AAA or CMLL. Write-up: bit.ly/U7KEL4Jay Skillet: One of many talented German wrestlers. Actually Germany is kind of filled to the brim with talented young wrestlers. Aside from Skillet off the top of my head some some of the better young Germans out there include Big Daddy Walter, Koray and Robert Schild. One thing I think sets Skillet apart from a lot of others is how well he can read a crowd. Here is a write-up I did of one of Skillet's matches: bit.ly/1mJBUFJ and I was also fortunate enough to interview him last year, which you can find here: bit.ly/1qTFIWA

In terms of UK wrestling, you guys need to know about Will Ospreay. For my money, he's arguably the best high-flyer in Europe right now, some of the stuff he can do is Ricochet worthy... and he's even wrestled Ricochet on a couple of occasions. I reckon by this time next year, he'll be a near regular with Dragon Gate.

The best high flier in Europe is without a doubt Mark Andrews, he is incredible in the air and the ladder match against Jimmy Havoc showed. In fact who should FAN know about? everyone in this video

He's not even 21 and already has 6 years experience and aside from PROGRSS he's also worked Preston City Wrestling and a slew more companies in Europe. Oddly enough though he's originally from Israel.

I'd like to see him and Zack have a significant presence in the U.S. in the future.

I'm a little surprised Zack hasn't already been scooped by a bigger company given that the words been out on him a lot longer than it has been for Dar. However it makes sense if you look at the wrestling landscape. TNA by all accounts doesn't have the resources to make very attractive offers to young talent (not that they ever paid a lot of their talent very well to begin with). ROH is an even smaller fish so that just leaves WWE who can only sign so many top indie workers at a time. I'm just wondering how fat the NOAH paychecks can be at this point since NOAH has been in the crapper for a while? Zack works a ton of indies, but NOAH's been the fed he's chiefly worked for most of this decade. I would think every other Japanese fed would be on par with NOAH for payments if not less EXCEPT for NJPW which is thriving. So I think it's just a matter of time before WWE or NJPW makes Zack an offer.

Last year, I went to AIW's Absolution 8. There was a stacked card with a whole lot of incredible talent, but when I think back, one of the absolute standouts was Louis Lyndon. Just brilliant heel work, great at getting the crowd engaged throughout, and some great wrestling.

I wouldn't be shocked at all if New Japan makes Zack an offer in the future as they are trying to spruce up their junior heavyweight division. I do think that Zack could get over easily in ROH should they be inclined to bring him in. I also wonder if Regal hasn't done a bit of scouting on him. I do think Zack and his attitude/gimmick of the "British Master" would get over in WWE. Also, "arm bar!"

I do think Zack and his attitude/gimmick of the "British Master" would get over in WWE. Also, "arm bar!" I could definitely see Zack getting over huge in ROH. The only problem with ROH is that any time I see an indie guy as talented as Zack I think "Well, if WWE isn't going to take them or (insert other logical major company) then ROH should sign him." But then I remember ROH only has so many spots. Since ROH has been putting so much emphasis on really building up younger talent like Adam Cole, Michael Elgin and ACH not to mention having to make room for older established talent like Christopher Daniels it just makes me wonder how they can find room for guys like Zack Sabre...and Noam Dar...and JT Dunn...and AR Fox...and etc. etc. etc.

Eh... with ZSJ, I think he's hyper talented enough that he could almost be a second coming of Nigel as far as being the cocky British guy main eventer with the European style. I think if ROH gave him a shot, he'd be instant gold and would rise above everyone else that's there. If he was simply a high flier like Nevelle, I think that would be problematic, but with his technical skills and speaking ability, I think it would be a great fit.

IDK, as I said if Zack ends up in ROH he'd be great. It's just a combination of ROH being less attractive than companies like WWE/NJPW and them just not having the room with so many talented guys they already have working relationships with that makes me think he won't wind up with ROH as his chief promotion. I could be completely wrong though. It's completely possible that ROH could make Zack a great offer and a spot could open up.

The problem with ZSJ being in ROH is where he lives.
He could be a marvelous fly-in attraction, but as much as I'd love to see it, I don't think ROH would fly him in for every show. So some shows, maybe even some of the smaller ones, having him in would be really cool. But I don't think they would have him in as a regular member of the roster.
I haven't really been focused on the indy scene lately, so this is a nice thread to browse through...last time I was, The Riot was in its prime...are they still a group? I hope they're still a group.

David Starr and JT Dunn are the two that really spring to mind right now. Together as The Juicy Product and in solo matches, both of these guys have huge potential. Starr is 23 and Dunn is 25, so they're both pretty young. In solo matches, Dunn has had more prestige matches facing bigger names like Johnny Gargano, Michael Elgin and Chris Hero. As a team though, these guys click perfectly. The promo videos they put up on Facebook are absolutely killer and freaking hilarious.

I love me some Mike Bailey. Heck, Canada is another country that's filled to the brim with young talent. Although I believe Bailey is from a different part of Canada, Montreal has some great young talent. One that comes to mind that is pretty interesting and way different from anyone mentioned in this thread so far is Buxx Belmar. He's a really fun character. Although he did nearly hit me with a loogie once
