John Cena once again tries to retain his championship, but just like last time the Money in the Bank holder has his number. And thanks to a man in a motorcycle helmet, Rob Van Dam puts Cena away with a Five Star Frog Splash to become the second man to successfully cash in.
Now we flash forward to Wrestlemania 23, where this time the field is opening up. Eight spots are being offered this year and it's quite the cast.
Here we have the man who loves the sound of his own voice, Mr. Kennedy... Kennedy!
Next is the up-and-coming Straight Edge Superstar, CM Punk!
This next man is as dangerous as it gets, Randy Orton!
Our next participant is one of the returning contenders who hopes to help his King achieve glory, it's Finlay!
Next we have a North Carolina favorite whose also ready to make a second attempt and one half of a tag team in this equation, Matt Hardy!
Next up, it's time to bow down, because here is King Booker!
We also have the other half of the famed Hardy Boyz, the Charismatic Enigma, Jeff Hardy!
And finally it's the first man who has won the briefcase before and looks to take it once again, the Rated-R Superstar, Edge!
So, will history repeat itself again? Or will we see a curve-ball thrown this time around?
