Matt Hardy on Jeff when he was getting laid out and having car accidents ect.
It was obvious in the build but then wasn't Jeff somehow left with Matt in the ring during a Jeff title match? And maybe Matt had a chair? I seem to remember even the crowd reacted more with a sound of "oh god it really was him" rather than a shocked "oh god, it was him!!!" But that could be my memory playing tricks on me.

Tatanka in 1994 The most obvious heel turn EVER!! Really? At the time I was 100% sure it was going to be Luger because well it's Luger and his face run had flopped.

Batista's turn on Rey in 2009 I only saw the PPV Match itself and none of the build up, but the fact the title match was immediately followed by those two getting interviewed, when neither of them won, you knew something was going to happen.

For me, this begins and ends with Big Show's heel turn during the Cena/Laurinaitis match at Over the Limit. I don't think I've ever seen anything, in any medium, that was so telegraphed, which made Cena look like an idiot. It was made all the more hilarious by the grown man in full Cena gear in the front row who couldn't believe it.

Cody betraying Holly and joining up with Ted Jr. Being like the only man in history to lose the WWE Tag Team Championship to himself For me, this begins and ends with Big Show's heel turn during the Cena/Laurinaitis match at Over the Limit. 99% of them are so completely obvious. I was actually got off guard by the Shield though And I was surprised that they didn't split up by Wrestlemania 30 and turned face instead. They swerved all of us in a few months span like who does that?

The Big Show heel turn was so telegraphed and obvious that Ray Charles saw it coming from the grave. It was so stupid that Show would turn heel because he would have been rehired after Johnny Ace was canned. Shit, Cena even mentioned it the next night on RAW. It was completely pointless too, because Show lost to Cena once again less than a month later and John L was fired by Vince.

AJ's
Any time a popular babyface gets to be too popular for his or her own good...they stick them with John Cena. The writing was on the wall there...lol.

Part of me misses my innocence. Shawn turning on Marty was the first heel turn I'd ever seen, and I even had the magazine Shawn tore up. I couldn't get my head round a tag TEAM splitting up. When Shawn super kicked Marty I was genuinely shocked, and thought it was the coolest f***ing thing I'd ever seen in my life, whereas now I'd be writing threads about who'll be the "most over after the split." Sigh.

Chris Jericho in 2008. All it took was him hosting one Highlight Reel with Batista and HBK and it was obvious he was turning. It was a little slow but enjoyable and we all worshipped early SRS Jericho.
Most shocking for me in the WWE was Paul Bearer at Summerslam 1996.

I will say that WWE has been better at this lately. It appeared that the Shield would break up (at least differently than what ended up happening) and that the Rhodes Brothers would split and feud with each other. Both instances took different tracks and that is a step in the right direction as far as storytelling goes.

But that could be my memory playing tricks on me. Don't forget that Matt set Jeff's house on fire and killed his dog. I swear they implied that. It was okay though, Matt ran to the ring to stop Jeff from getting a beat down a couple of months later and all was forgiven.

I can still see it happening. Goldust gets pissed at Cody/Stardust for plagiarism and turns on him or Stardust turns and retires Goldust somehow.
