How is that unprofessional? I don't know its just the reporting of something from an email that wasn't meant for him. Just doesn't seem 'right'. Well when said person is constantly calling their reporting of him working for TNA false, and they catch him with his pants down, at the same time validating their initial report about him, I got no problem with it. It's not like they put the whole e-mail out for all to read, just said it was instructions on how to call the matches they were going to do commentary on. It's not a surprise to anyone they weren't there doing commentary, that fact has been stated already.

Russo is claiming on Twitter it was a long planned swerve...I wish I was making this up. Things like this are why I can't even get mad at TNA for bringing Russo back anymore, because you just know that he's going to do something so spectacularly mind-boggling that you just want to see it play out.

If Russo's email was hacked or something, I could see your point. But this is someone who was caught lying to the press through accidentally emailing the press proof that he was lying to them. What's the reporter to do, refrain from covering an important industry story that was delivered right to his email?

I can't wait until Russo gets "fired" now.

WCW wrote the book on how to not run a wrestling company. TNA is writing the idiot's guide version.

I hope Russo stays with TNA. I want them to be as comically stupid as possible before they go out of business.

I just want to know what he wrote in the email.
I mean, it's Taz and Tenay, is he writing "Mike, be sure to sound disinterested; Taz, babble inanely."?
Because, if so? Then they are NAILING it!

I love that TNA knows that Russo sucks and half of the long term guys can't stand him so they bring him back as a consultant under a veil of secrecy. TNA is hilarious.

They knew enough that hiring him back would cause issues with damn near everyone but instead of going elsewhere, they hire him and tell him to keep quiet which the dumb f*** cannot do! This is the 3rd time his communications with TNA talent and exec.s has gotten out. It is honestly amazing to me.

Yeah, the story is now either Russo told a really stupid lie about being told to keep it quiet. or TNA is smart enough to know that hiring Russo would cause problems with all sorts of people... but dumb enough to hire him anyway... either way that is tremendous.

Y'know, to parrot a point from earlier: -Heyman says he would have gotten rid of just about all of the older guys in TNA if he had taken over. Fast forward a few years, it's basically happened. And, spoiler, {Spoiler}{Spoiler}-The Carters didn't sell TNA because they couldn't guarantee that Dixie would remain an on-air character. Fast forward a year, and they're filming an angle to take her off TV. Instead, we still have ol' Uncle Vinnie.

Russo ends an "official statement" with "Peace?"
Wow. I mean, wow.
Doesn't he know Peace is not the word to play?

It feels to me like they think Russo's got good ideas, and that his reputation is undeserved. Therefore, to prevent "FIRE RUSSO" chants, they want him to be their secret. Then, people will accept the storylines.
It's obviously misguided, if this is their mentality, but it's virtually the only acceptable explanation as to why they would hire him anyway even with the need to disguise his involvement with some groucho glasses. Another, much less acceptable alternative is if they are employing him just out of being friends with him and know he sucks. That'd be dire, and indicative of severe problems in management, given their often precarious position in recent times.

It wasn't Russo that sent the email by accident...it was Ed Ferrara!

Russo is basically a curse on wrestling.
Unless wrestling collects all of Cortes' Aztec gold and restores it back to the chest, Russo will never truly be gone.
