See, I don't think the Lynn matches were all that much compared to their epic ECW encounters. Seek out BFG 2011 I guess but the rest were just there. By all means get the entire episode of Impact where he won the title. The Hardy and Styles matches were both stellar and exciting. The AJ rematches were decent but felt like house show matches. Oh and early on he and Jeff had some good tag matches with Beer Money.
I enjoyed his matches with Abyss as well, even if the whole Janice thing was incredibly over the top and foolish.
Avoid the match with an out of shape Matt Hardy and anything he did with Ken Anderson (which might be the worst RVD matches, well, ever). He and Sting were hit and miss. The Daniels feud was amusing stuff, with the whole "Bob Van Dam" thing from Daniels.
Personally I also thought his BFG 2012 match with Zema Ion might be Zema's best match.

Was it the "Whole F'n Show" edition of iMPACT! where he had a good hardcore match with Abyss and kicked his teeth out? There were barbed wire boards in the match and a good ladder spot. I could be thinking of two different matches in which they were a part of.

Nah, I think he kicked Abyss' teeth out on some random edition of Impact a while later.
Regarding RVD's TNA run I think people confuse a guy being put in lackluster storylines with a guy not caring. There were long stretches in TNA where RVD just wasn't doing anything important. I mean for the post BFG 2010 to BFG 2011 time period he may well have been the worst booked guy in wrestling when you consider the EV 2.0 mole angle, screwing around with an out of shape Matt Hardy, the tedious Anderson feud, setting the goal of getting back the title he never lost and failing to do so, and the entire silliness of the BFG Series where Jerry Lynn kept getting him DQed to cost him points to set up that feud. That's a lot of crappy storylines for a 1 year time period. What made it all the more jarring is that RVD is someone who could previously take pride in never being in many awful storylines. He might have lost matches or feuded with someone who sucked, but he never did idiotic angles that lessened him in the eyes of the fans until he was in TNA (aside from possibly his tertiary involvement in the whole Kane unmasking in 2003). But in TNA from the point where we saw him as a bloody mess up until he beat Lynn at BFG 2011 he was in nonstop bad storylines.

Do you mean when he went there to support Booker T.? I am pretty sure he was gone from TNA at that point since his contract was up in March 2013 and WM weekend was in early April.

Matches with Styles, Joe and Daniels should have been nailed on 'dream matches'. Of course that didn't happen with this being TNA. I don't recall any particular build-up or story-line with any of them....
And his entrance music was appalling. Truely appalling.

Heh, how on earth would anyone sell that? The bloodletting was so over the top that there was no feasible way. Now, I don't think he should have been tweeting from Vegas either when he was supposed to be dying, but he was.
I can't remember but I thought his TNA contract was up when he went to the HOF, but even so, does it matter? TNA let guys go to WWE HOF shows in the past, including the Flair deal where he was actually inducted with the Horsemen.

Looks like he slipped and fell cause of a spill in the tomato sauce isle at the supermarket.

I'm not a doctor, but I think if you lost this much blood, you could quite probably die.

See, I wish wrestling did over the top stuff like this more often. We need Evil Dead levels of gore with chunks and random organs and everything else splattered around. Then show up the next day with a single band-aid on your forehead.

That image is a metaphor for TNA's entire next year. I actually do think TNA got a decent amount out of RVD/AJ, and RVD/Daniels is a decent idea for a match but not really a dream match. What I still don't get is how TNA never managed to put RVD/Angle on PPV. The week after RVD won the title he mentioned Angle in an interview, and Angle took himself out of the top 10 to work his way back up. Someone logical might assume Angle would work his way through the top 10, RVD would hold onto the belt, and these two would face off at a major PPV.

His match with Matt Hardy at Victory Road 2011 is really overlooked since it happened during the period everyone hated Matt Hardy.

I don't remember this happening? When was this? f*** every day I'm reminded that TNA's sole existence is so that the WWE doesn't get antitrust claims.

That time Sting disguised himself as Sting to ambush him.
