The financing is finally 100% secured for the Sacramento arena! Turner Construction just finished wrapping up Levi's Stadium and now they will be heading up the road to begin building our arena.
Demolition of the Downtown Plaza site begins Friday at 6am.

The Bulls, Nuggets, Celtics and Warriors "have seemingly backed off" in pursuit of Kevin Love and the Cavs appear to have the framework of a deal done, according to the Morning Journal.

Thrilled at this news. This likely goes till the end of Parker's career. Part of me thought he might explore the open market and look for a big deal (he's been underpaid his whole career honestly) but I'm glad to see he's a Spur for life.

Paul George is done for the year That injury looked brutal. Anyone else watching the USA exhibition game? Don't open if you have a weak stomach. Good job by espn for only showing one replay. And great decision to call the game after the injury. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}

I just saw a single screenshot and it made me queasy.
Really hope George's career isn't over after that. My god that's a horrible injury.

reminds me of Sid's injury.
I cringed, and I don't do that often.

I hope Paul recovers and remains at his level of talent. Unfortunately this means this season is already a lost one for the Pacers. They struggled massively in the second half of the season with scoring and George was their best scorer. The East is still shite so they may still sneak into the playoffs, but that's about it. I saw a tweet from someone who said they saw bone sticking out. Get better Paul......

No joke, that's the kind of injury that can lead to an amputation and no one wants that to happen. Thought to PG and his family.

I just got home and saw ESPN talking about a serious leg injury. Figured it was pretty bad. Saw a replay of it. That made my leg hurt. Thoughts going out to PG and his friends/relatives. Just a really shitty situation for everybody involved.

Steve Nash is being very optimistic, saying PG will be back in top form in no time.
I wish I could be optimistic about this. But this type of injury... I'm sorry.

Shaun Livingston and Kevin Ware were able to recover from similar gruesome injuries to play competitive basketball again. There's no doubt in my mind that Paul George will be back, it's just a matter of when. I feel bad for the Pacers. The Pacers couldn't sign Lance Stephenson in the offseason, and now their best player goes down with a horrifying leg injury.
