Whattup, FANs!
So, I've really come to like black comedy and off-color humor lately (favorite show is Family Guy if that helps anybody out at all), but it occurred to me last night that I don't really know any movies that fall into this category.
So... what are some movies that are up this comedy alley that this Orangeutan can try out?
Thanks, guys!

Two I saw recently are The Guard and Calvary. The Guard is more comedy, while Calvary is more drama. Also if you check out and like In Bruges you can also check out Seven Psychopaths.

I can remember back in High School discussing with a friend the movie "The Pallbarer" and mentioned it was a black comedy. Another friend (who was black) gets sort of offended by this and I have to explain that I meant black as in dark not as in race. My point? Avoid anything with David Schwimmer movies if you want avoid pissing off black people.

The Trouble with Harry is a great Hitchcock black comedy. Also, a very stunning looking film visually.
If you're after something more ridiculous then I found Sightseers a lot of fun.

World's Greatest Dad and God Bless America both directed by Bobcat Goldthwait are brilliant.
Observe and Report with Seth Rogen is fantastic. Reminiscent of Taxi Driver at times.

All great recommendations. Another one worth throwing out there is Goldthwait's other feature film Sleeping Dogs Lie. If you're unfamiliar with Goldthwait or just know him as that stand-up comedian with the funny voice then his features will surprise you. The first two have the central plot based on absurd sex acts (a woman having sex with a dog and someone dying of auto erotic asphyixiation, respectively), but that is just the starting point. From there he takes viewers into a world where the characters are much deeper and complex than they first appear. God Bless America is a little different, but has the same kind of tone.

That whole movie was based on the idea what if Taxi Driver was a comedy. Brilliant film. I also recommend Jody Hill's other works Foot Fist Way and Eastbound and Down Orange. And the movie Seven Psychopaths if you loved In Bruges. And Snatch I f***ing love that movie so much
