12/27:
TNA won't be paying for wrestlers' hotel rooms or rental cars anymore. This is bad for a lot of the lower-card guys who only make $300 per show. Sucks to be them.
Agents Shane Douglas and Simon Diamond weren't at the last taping because Jeff Jarrett isn't happy with the TNA agents' work and he wants to send a message, or something. Johnny Swinger was given an agent tryout at the tapings.
Jim Cornette is working with talent on interviews and angles, but he's not involved with the writing.
Leticia, the new interview girl, is well-liked because she went on the 'net after she was hired and learned a lot about wrestling.
1/1:
Turning Point probably did half the buys that Genesis did, in large part due to the fact that it was number four of five straight Sunday night PPVs. TNA totally wasted the second Joe/Angle match on this show but nothing else would have done any better numbers
TNA originally wanted to do Lockdown in St. Louis and have Pierzynski and Eckstein involved but since baseball has already started by then it's not feasible. Plus, the building they were looking at in St. Louis won't allow blood and you can't have Lockdown without blood! So anything involving those two baseball players will happen at the February PPV in Orlando.
The whole Nash Paparazzi Challenge angle is leading to the finals at the January PPV in which there will be three judges, one of which will be BOB BACKLUND. And Disco Inferno will be another.
Spike TV has a relationship with an anti-smoking organization and that's why Ron Killings is talking about quitting smoking on Impact lately.

Not gonna argue with it. It's amazing, because you figured there would be a story about at least ONE of the Diva Search girls similar to that and there wasn't. -.-

That's too bad about Turning Point not doing good numbers; another casualty of the December 2 Dismember Disaster.

That's too bad about Turning Point not doing good numbers; another casualty of the December 2 Dismember Disaster. Anyone want to take odds that someone uses the PPV as an example that "Angle can't draw!"? It is nice to see the girl learning about the business. I know she won't be the next Mike Tenay, but atleast she will be a step above ECW's Rebecca or Mongo McMichael.

Spike TV has a relationship with an anti-smoking organization and that's why Ron Killings is talking about quitting smoking on Impact lately. I don't watch many Impacts, mostly highlights online, but how did Ron talk about this? Was it like "Hey Ron, how you doin?" "A hell of a lot better since I quit smoking!" cue cheesy smile...

Well this past week he joined DW and Teney and they were talking about New Years and Killings said he had three resolutions and one of them was to quit smoking. There was also a very awkward joke about Traci Brooks and quiting smoking after sex made as well. But the first one is a better example.

I personally enjoyed the one where Ron was like "I'm a smoker, it's a disgusting habit, and I hate myself when my kid sees me smoking. I'm trying to quit, but it's hard, but there are places you can go if you're having trouble quitting as well."

Ron worked it into his Christmas Rap as well. It was the highlight to me.
I wish completely random wrestlers would discuss smoking or have a sketch surrounding it. Imagine, Norman Smiley lights up a cigarette and turns to see Shark Boy shaking his head "no." Norman then drops his head in shame and puts the cigarette out.
