CM Punk and Jericho both come close a number of times to taking hold of the briefcase, but in the end the wily veteran outsmarts Punk, trapping his leg in a ladder and allowing him to secure the title shot for himself!
Flash back to Smackdown a few months later. Judgement Day 2008: Triple H has just finished competing in a brutal Last Man Standing match with the likes of Randy Orton. As he holds up his title in celebration... Chris Jericho's music hits from the titantron. Looking on in dismay, Triple H watches as his old rival heads down to the ring, intent on cashing in.
So, will Triple H prove that he is that damn good and survive this extra obstacle, or will Y2J make him pay for the years of torment? -------------------
