Great response, never saw somebody do that with the chants like EC3.

I loved that. ECIII just has IT. I just wished he hadn't fallen into that Dolph/Christian slot in WWE where they liked him but thought he was too snake bit to really use.

Yeah I always thought "You can't wrestle" is one of those chants that the recipient can't really counteract considering it's kind of a BS chant, and EC3 just dismantled that notion.

Cena once did by putting Justin Gabriel in an inverted triangle choke once they started those chants. No one cared though and kept doing it

That was the highlight of the show, for me.

Yeah, EC3 has done that a few times when he gets that chant and he has done the same thing. Funny thing is the first time it happened was at One Night Only: #OldSchool and I loved it then when he did it.

This guy is so good, he just has IT, I don't know why wwe fired him, even Cena was one of his biggest proponents. I don't remeber seeing a wrestler being that creative in a long time (his twitter feed is hilarious also)

Not the first time he did it. And most of us predicted they would chant that to him when they would go to NYC.
But I thought they were going to be harsher with him?

When the fans at Lockdown chanted "CM Punk" while he was doing a promo, EC3 said "don't try hijacking this show". He definitely can think on his feet and improvise when necessary. That's a great, and nowadays rare, quality to have.

As far as I can remember, ECIII used the "I disagree/I'm very good" way before the #OldSchool One Night Only PPVs. Very early during his series with Norv Fernum & Dewey Barnes, fans chanted "You Can't Wrestle" at ECIII and he quickly used those lines to counteract it.
But yeah, there's no doubt in my mind that ECIII has all the tools to succeed. He has that quick wit on the mic and he adapts to every situation thrown at him. This is so coming handy nowadays, in a time when promos are so heavily scripted.

His early TNA promos weren't particularly great, but I'm very glad he's really kind of come into his own. Also,

Even if you do show off your wrestling skills, the crowd will still chant it. It was funny when Great Khali used to get the chant on cue when he was a heel, because...well it's Khali. Chanting it towards Ethan Carter III is just asking to be countered.

Hopefully TNA realizes what they have in ECIII. The guy knows how to roll with punches.

I seriously have to question why this guy isn't still in NXT or on the main roster right now. When you can look like a star on IMPACT of all places, that kinda leads me to believe that WWE dropped the ball on this one.
