Really, for me...it doesn't even have to be T'Challa. Marvel would really be miles ahead if the movie was about Shuri getting the mantle from T'Challa. I'd be slightly disappointed I wouldn't be seeing T'Challa with the mantle, but man...you know how awesome and far ahead of any of their competitors they'd be if they made an origin movie for Shuri getting the mantle from T'Challa? And again...let me also point out, Guardians of the Galaxy is getting a movie despite nobody demanding for it. Marvel is still trying with Ant-Man despite the fact nobody gives a shit about Pym like that. With GOTG in the can and Ant-Man being put together, Marvel is clearly willing to manufacture demand for their movies; it doesn't make any damn sense for them to be dragging their feet on a movie people have been demanding for over a decade. Especially compared to friggin' ANT-MAN. Don't nobody care about Ant-Man.

The Marvel Studios brand sells these movies. If a trailer includes "From the studio that brought you The Avengers", it's going to make money. So there's no reason not to try new heroes.

He's the closest thing Marvel has to Batman, he deserves his own movie.

He's the closest thing Marvel has to Batman, he deserves his own movie. Point taken. Still would rather see Black Panther before Moon Knight. He's been relaunched so many times the last 25 years I can't even remember what's what with him anymore.

For me Black Panther would work in the Avengers universe the same way Aquaman works in the Timm animated universe: he's there if you need him, and he'll definitely be involved in you come into his domain, but he isn't a full-time member of the team because he's dealing with his own business.

Isn't that how the MCU Avengers are already? They do their own shit, then shit happens, and they gotta save shit. Panther would work well with him having to juggle the responsibilities of being King to his people and being an Avenger. I mean that could even lead to him giving up the mantle. That's two/three movies worth of character development right there.

I don't know, the only character I can think of that has the respect of all the other "heroes" in the main marvel universe other than Cap is Black Panther. I understand the original Avengers for the movie was kinda a mish mosh of 616 and the Ultimates universe in terms of story and original team, but with some of those stars making noise about how many more movies they want to make and the like, it's time to get him introduced into the cinematic universe. Doesn't have to be a traditional "origin story", we didn't have little kid Thor running around learning to cope with his powers or anything, but they do have to explain how he became king and how he became the panther in some way. I sure as hell would rather see this than Ant Man..... He's the closest thing Marvel has to Batman, he deserves his own movie. Henry Pym is another.

Guaranteed they are making plans to get Spider-Man back and are going to work him into the fold. I bet Gwen Stacy's life! Oh wait...

Marvel Studios has just announced another date for one of their upcoming movies, May 4, 2018.
Me thinks it'll be Avengers 3, although to play conspiracy theorist Sony did just announce that Amazing Spider-Man 3 had been delayed to 2018. Just wishful thinking on my part.

Sticking with my ideas as already formulated:
2015: May 1: The Avengers: Age of Ultron July 17: Ant-Man
2016: May 6: Captain America 3 July 8: Doctor Strange
2017: May 5: Thor 3 July 27: Captain Marvel Nov. 3: Guardians 2/Nova
2018: July 6: Avengers 3 Nov. 2: Black Panther
The new May date for 2018, I can see Guardians 2 slotting in as the Thanos prelude and the Guardians coming to Earth - almost making a double feature as one big story with A3.
I'd then move Captain Marvel to the November 2017 date, leaving Summer 2017 for Iron Man 4, considering RDj stated today he was up for it. Hopefully it'll be a team up with Hulk.
That would give us a new schedule as follows:
2015: May 1: The Avengers: Age of Ultron July 17: Ant-Man
2016: May 6: Captain America 3 July 8: Doctor Strange
2017: May 5: Thor 3 July 27: Iron Man 4 feat. Hulk Nov. 3: Captain Marvel
2018: May 4th: Guardians 2 July 6: Avengers 3 Nov. 2: Black Panther
