That's the only explanation for this.

He was giving me a 60's Batman vibe... and Carrey said he based his Riddler on Gorshin so I guess that works.

As was mentioned they're both aping Gorshin anyway. Credit where it's due.
Also recently re-watched the entire Sixties Batman run. Gorshin was the MVP of that show.

Definitely lots of Gorshin. I always felt Batman onomatopoeia would be a great fit for wrestling. Overlay them over Dust Bros. matches and I'll mark out.

It strikes me as a combination of Gorshin and Carrey, and that's not a bad thing. It works well for the character.

I get that same vibe as well. Somebody must have been a fan of the Adam West Batman series.

hes playing this role perfectly , I can see him go all the way to the top . IMO Goldust could have gone to the top as well if , not for his personal problems

Its like Jim Carrey's Riddler mated with HIM from Power Puff Girls and Stardust is the product of said consummation

Sure Frank Gorshin's Riddler didn't get him?

Goldust and Stardust may be history's first promo-only tag team In my head, they were booked against Ryback/Curtis Axel ad nauseum, but none of those happened because Ryback refused to wrestle "those hermaphodites".

it's funny people mention possession. I had this bizarre idea that during an angle/match with the Wyatts they could make use of the idea that Bray Wyatt is a possessed Husky Harris and have them cut a promo against each other with the idea Stardust is somehow possessing Cody and they both recognize and are hostile to each other
