I personally would love to see him back in the WWE. Apparently, Vince isn't too on board with it. But Vince has been wrong in the past. Infact he's lucky he survived the war with WCW. If it wasn't for Russo and Time Warner I have a feeling things might have come out different. I digress though, Angle back in the WWE, let him tear the house down with people like Daniel Bryan, epic match right there.

Your signature makes me afraid to say no. So yes, I welcome our milk-chugging overlord back to the WWE.

Not sure how different it'd go when WCW got utterly humiliated by Vince on a regular basis by the time Russo left, but beyond that, I just doubt Kurt would pass wellness right now. If he took off time and healed up, maybe, but his best years are behind him.

Look we all miss the undeniable potential of Eric Angle.
But we have to accept that a glorious return and main event push is just not happening.

Kurt is Taker levels of broken and has a history of substance abuse issues, so no.

Oh yes, Angle needs to come back home and have one last run and retire for good. My favorite Angle phase was dorky Kurt, so I am sad we will not see that ever again. If it was me, I would have Angle come back and take Rusev down. He is tailor-made to be the guy due to his Olympic background.

I'd want him back because he could give the most back out of any WWE alumnus that has returned recently (*cough* Rock *cough* Lesnar *cough*) and put over talent in excellent matches and work as a trainer.

Unfortunately, that is the hurdle that Angle will have to clear.

i see a lot of the same argument here so i'll just quote you. He's clearly riding out the rest of his contract with TNA, that's 6 months of healing time where he isn't taking any sort of abuse. By October? Who knows. Furthermore, I know this wasn't you that said it, so please don't take it aimed at you, but I never stated that he should get a main event push, nor go back to full time. I think he should get a part time-legends deal where he comes back every now and then and gets in an angle, works it, puts in a 5 star match and leaves for a bit again. I think he could handle that sort of a work load. Full time? Forget about it.

I've seriously had countless wrestling fans ask me either if Kurt Angle still wrestles, or if Kurt Angle is dead. I'd love him to come back purely so I no longer have to field such questions!
I do feel it has been a shame that someone with such talent has been languishing in the minor leagues for the past 7 or 8 years and has missed out on some of his peak years performing on the highest stage in front of large audiences.

When does his contract officially expire in TNA? I believe in October. I really wish he wouldn't have stayed in TNA for nearly a decade. It still feels wrong that he isn't in WWE in my opinion.

I really wish he wouldn't have stayed in TNA for nearly a decade. It still feels wrong that he isn't in WWE in my opinion. While I agree, I understand why. At that point his body just couldn't hold up anymore with the WWE schedule. It was clear that they were not going to give him a lighter load while he was there, due to the fact that he was holding the company together for the most part, or one of the major contributors anyways. If he had stayed, he would have been in dire straights. Look what's happened to him personally in TNA. And that's with a majorly reduced load. i think at this point the WWE would be willing to give him that lighter load now that they understand the severity of it.

It'd sure be nice to hear "YOU SUCK!" again...
Also, honestly if in the middle of a Lana Promo, Angle's Music hit, I'd mark like a girl

No thanks. Finisher, kickout, finisher, kickout, finisher, kickout. Don't want to see him try to kill himself by moonsaulting off something else either. Honestly haven't enjoyed a match of his since believe it or not the Anderson feud.

The potential of matches against fresh opponents like Bryan and Cesaro and to see him help put the likes of Reigns & Wyatt over is why I want to see Angle come back to the WWE.
